I have always felt that having your own opinion once you see a horses form and seeing their races in the best way to judge the ability and npossibilities of a good run a cheltenham.  The only problem I have is not being able to see some of the races.  Well done for ATR on their website to be able to see past races.
Does anyone have knowledge of good sites to go on to view past races for recent seasons??

BJG......really useful.  Just watched the Fingal Bay vs Simonsig race....and its settled it for me.  Fingal Bay all day long....drew Simonsig into a battle and stretched away.  Nothing wrong with simonsig as they both galloped away from the third (a good horse) well enough.....simply put Fingal Bay had too mnuch for a very classy Simonsig.

And the extra furlong and hill at Chelt will suit Fingal even more imo

Dunno wat they are doin thinkin of takin him on again with Simonsig tbh

Dont think they will as if Boston Bob goes in Neptune as well cant see Simonsig beating both, much better chance in wide open Supreme, as shows plenty of speed and hopefully jump bit better with furious pace they go in Supreme.
Might now what race after Darlan tomorrow, personally couldnt have him at all, but been wrong many times.

Thanks again for the link BJG, been on it loads since you put it up on the quevega thread (I think?), but does anyone know any other (free) site for the rest of the courses? I've just paid off and cut up my credit cards, so don't really want to get another one to pay for ATR Shocked

Nick,

Just register with ATR and you can access their video archive free.

Cheers NS, I think I was just being particularly dense - found today's easily enough but was struggling to find anything older. Sorted now, although is there a quick way of searching a horses form if I don't know the dates etc?
Sorry for appearing a bit of a div but it's been a long day....!

If you go to the Cheltenham Microsite and then the race card for each race when you click on a runner you will see every race run by that horse at an ATR course(full race or final stages).

It's all there....enjoy.Happy

Cheers mate, that would have been a bit of a mission otherwise... Had a word a while ago for Pique Sous for the bumper but hadn't had the chance to see any of the races. Also, wondered exactly how much I was kidding myself thinking Knights Pass has a sneaky chance in the Supreme...
