Star of a Gunner when it won the Lincoln on atrocoius ground in the late '80s but of course before that it was Red Rum and all the Grand National horses (The Pilgarlic, Earthstopper etc) and the Duke of Albuquerque from the '70s.
Started going racing in ernest with my ex in the late 90's, mostly to Uttoxeter and Haydock where Lord Gyllene and General Wolfe were standing dishes. Happy days. |

my first punt was a treble at the festival. my older brother told me to stick a fiver on as it was my 15th birthday a week before.
treble was baracouda, moscow flyer, best mate. how could you not love racing after that |
