Yes I may have the sponser wrong, but this will surely be a huge runner given any abilty to jump a flight.
Winner in a hack canter off 92 in the Irish Cesarawich yesterday - this must be a group 3 horse on the level at least. Bags of improvement likely, heads to Dessie Hughes to learn the game.
16/1 might look skinny in the eyes of some, but I will be suprised if a better 3yr old flat horse goes hurdling- and will be backing this to win a small house.

WOSP, I smashed this horse on Sunday (posted elsewhere so not aftertiming) and agree with you he is at least Listed class on his last performance.
I'd rather wait until he has jumped a hurdle though before backing him as his price cant change much from the 16/1 after just one race imo. No guarantee he will translate the form either.
When is he due to run over stix ?

exactly...so if you've got a group horse on the flat...it's a good starting point!!!...or are you saying if you've got 2 horses for the triumph one is rated 50 on the flat and one is rated 95...you'd pick the 50 rated horse...to beginwith?

i think what ots is saying is that obviously a high flat rating is an indicator that the horse has reasonable ability, its just theres no guarantee itll translate to jumps. on the subject, nicholls has prospect wells entered up...

actually, to point out horses rated in the 70's winning the triumph i don't see how that isn't actually supporting the notion that a horse rated 20lb higher can't be able to do the same.

This time last year, it was the mighty Franklino at the head of the Triumph market.
He now races off a lofty mark of 109 has his form figures boast 372425-42

i'll expand on my point .......if a horse with an elevated flat form...if they then "take" to hurdling, the ability that they already have will stand them in good stead....i'm not saying that they are a group horse on the flat , therefore "will" win....i'm saying that a horse being a group horse on the flat is a good starting.... and "only" a starting point.

What does effect his chances is the 3 year old currently chewing away at some grass in a field in France that none of us have heard of
