Just a bit of fun thread for people to discuss or even guess what these may be for the 2012 festival. As the season goes on we can hopefully unearth 1 or 2 "dark uns" that might be worth a tickle at tasty prices.

Cheers

Noble alan, if he can sort out his jumping, will surely win a good race over 2m4f.

Barbatos for Ian Williams.Think this horse will fulfill his potential this year.Whether it will be at cheltenham is another story but can see him going close in a few of the major handicap hurdles this year.

i'll give you one for later on...fishoutofwater...fell first time up when being trotted round out the back.....today it was practically tailed off after the first fence....trotted round to finish last ....could be because it's useless...but i doubt it and it is a mcmanus horse after allGrin

Daves dream for the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase.Has an exceptional record fresh so will not be suprised if he is put away for the festival after a highly eyecatching reappearence in saturdays Paddy Power Gold Cup.After travelling into the race like a serious horse he patently failed to see out the distance(has attempted the trip on four occasions before and been beaten a total of 184 lengths in the four runs) when dropped back to the minimum i'm convinced he has a major race within him.N J Henderson lays one out for this every year i believe this could be his one for 2012

I thought Sunnyhill Boy was THE Jonjo handicap plot horse at this year's festival and bet accordingly - we all know what happened Sad

I think we all thought Sunnyhill was the plot horse last year!

He must win something decent soon!

I was under the impression that Ian Williams was supposed to be a shrewd trainer.Well he has absolutely destroyed this horses handicap mark by finishing 2nd to Fingal Bay and has got a 12lb rise for doing so.He could easily have won a big handicap off of his previous mark of 125.What a ****in clown.

agree with Ben, Gilbarry is being plotted. sure they paid 100k for it end of last season. Dave's Dream has a big race in him, fresh over 2m, so maybe grand annual. and notus de la tour probably being plotted as just off very  top class and with that plumpton bonus in mind it would be worth it!

I thought the 70k 1st place prize money LTO was enough to tempt a proper run but he was dropped out the back again.

Did you see Consiglieri today, I though Pipe was going to mess about with him till the festival then out of the blue he does that beating things he was struggling against a few weeks ago by 20 lengths come on! We don't stand a chance.
