Dear Race Fans

Yes! The king is back! No, not me, I mean Big Bucks this time.

Fill your boots next week at Aintree, the horse will win. He has won 3 times at Aintree but take this from me, this is not his ideal track.

However, he is the best of all time and will run a big race.

What a shame BF wasn't around in the sixties

You could have told us that Arkle would "run a big race"

The older Big Bucks gets the longer he will take to respond to pressure when a horse moves upsides in the final stages of a race.

Don't get me wrong, he won nicely at Cheltenham, but he had time to respond to the challenge of Grand Crus.

I think if the challenge of Grand Crus, or any other horse for that matter, is left as late as possbible, they may get to the line before he can 'dig in' to his stamina.
