Deffo agree with Mr O'Connors two winners. Conor O'Farrell on Buena Vista was a tremendous judge of pace and front running tactics. Ruby on Al Ferof and Final Approach, couldn't see them getting up.

I know it didn't win but i thought Sam Thomas gave Denman a great ride ( and no i didn't back it) S.Clements gave Oiseau de Nuit a good ride for an inexperienced rider.

Have to agree about Mr Clements as I backed Oiseau de Nuit! Ruby on Al Ferof and Final Approach was awesome, Kieran Burke is not a top rider and never will be but did nothing wrong on Holmwood Legend and performed miracles to finish second on Sparkys Choice.

Ruby on Al Ferof ,Mccoy on noble both stand out and Sam Thomas deserves a big mention for his ride on Denman, very very well judged on ground always too quick for him.

I love to see the so called lesser riders get a winner, Ruby, AP,Barry,Davy Russell and Paul Carberry all have ridden plenty of Cheltenham winners. The sheer joy in their faces is clear to see, its like they had scored the winner in the FA cup final. So well done to D.Jacobs,S.Clements,K.Burke, C O Farrell and E.Mullins who won't get a mention most weeks. Well maybe D.Jacobs will as he is a jockey going places,

I also thought the Noble Prince ride was excellent if not obvious. AP got the horse in a nice rhythm, went shortest route and produced at the correct time. A lot more subtle than he is given credit for.
Hemsby's list is a good one. I also thought the Noble Prince ride was excellent if not obvious. AP got the horse in a nice rhythm, went shortest route and produced at the correct time. A lot more subtle than he is given credit for.
personally think emmet mullins was a lucky boy... on the best/ most well handicapped horse by a mile and only just got up. good timing but could have been so much easier.

2. D.Jacob - What a friend- Got the old monkey travelling very sweetly 3. A.Mccoy - noble prince - pulled the trigger just at the right time
4. T. Scudamore - grans Crus - went shortest route delivered just at the right time 5. R. Walsh _- Kauto star- cut every corner, had him perfectly positioned.
