Any excuses LTO? On previous runs over CD he is a standout price. He easily beat Grandouet but is now a longer price. The choice of Ruby as well.

trainer said he should never have run him lto on that ground. also said time before (2nd c+d win) he didnt put much work into him before the race. and also said he's back to how he was before the runaway win (1st c+d win) think he'd want some cut in the ground though so would hope for his sake the forecasted rain comes

Not sure Ruby had the choice? Nicholls stated imediately after Zarkandar's Adonis win that Daryl Jacob would keep the ride.

I think Zarkandar surprised them a bit. Kumbeshwar franked the Adonis form yesterday though s'pose you could argue King has a line on them with Smad Place and must rate that one if he let Kumbeshwar take his chance in the Fred  Winter.

One of my bigger antepost bets when it was 10/1

Expecting a big run tomorrow! Cool

dif owners grazza, also i wouldn't be so sure they know who is best. I fancy Smad place to run a big 1 am on e/w at current prices

The most reliable trial is the Adonis and this year's winner looks up to the mark. I think Ruby's on the wrong one.
