I think you would have only lost once in the last 6 festivals ( Mr. McGoldrick 66/1), looks good value to me.

Correction- at 11 of the last 23 Festivals highest winning SP has been 40-1 or more. Take out 4 x 66-1 winners and Norton's Coin @ 100-1 and it's down to 6 of the last 23.
Blimey, you have done some research! I have only gone back to when the festival changed from a 3 day to a 4 day, (ie more races) so would be more relevant. Good bet IMO.
