As Cheltenham festival fever starts to captivate all lovers of national hunt i would like to be enlightened as to who all you forum dwellers believe to be the best bet for Tuesday. Any outside the box thinking is welcomed and the best bet doesn't necessarily mean a winner could be an each way shout or purely place only.

My selection is:

ADAMS ISLAND e/w (25/1) (Stewarts Family Handicap Chase - 3m1f)

La Vecchia Scuola mares hurdle 33/1 steal imo

Magens Star in the Supreme - nicked some 33s massive each way value for a horse rated 97 on the level who hasn't been extended in two hurdle races. Winner (flat) over 1m 6f too, won't be wanting for stamina

Do we know for sure that Magens Star goes in the Supreme. Holds an entry in the Mares Hurdle too.

Magens Star well beaten by Alpine Eagle over 14f on flat and what has Alpine Eagle achieved over jumps?

I'll wait for tomorrow mornings final declarations.

Rather than come up with the obvious, I'd put up Lord Nellerie as an each way chance in the Cross Country Chase (23/1 as I type). Just waiting for tomorrow's decs to come through before having a little bit on myself.

Another Jewel ew in the X Country (16's still available I think). Is a X country specialist, has course form and has a great chance on collateral form. Looks too big.

They favoured the Supreme for Magens Star from what I heard, the 7lb claim gives her a chance.
That Killarney race was MS first race for 9 months, she would have been entitled to come on for that, and whilst Alpine hasn't set the world alight he is rated 140 so is no mug.
I see he got smashed off the boards in the Imperial Cup though disappointed, and AE is himself rated mid 90s on the level.
I think she may have slipped under the radar a little, there'll be worse 25/1 shots this week....

Hear Hear horse9.  Managed to get 50s on her about 2 weeks ago.  She's getting 7lb and classy on the flat.  Could do a Like A Butterfly or French Ballerina in this race.
