Had a wind op, could improve for it, ran a decent enough race in the Arkle until trying to run through the 2nd last, big price in a race perhaps lacking depth!?

i,ve got Mad max as my best bet of the festival!! been backing him since Novemember for the QM for good money!

ran well in the paddy power and didnt get home same next time out. last race wasnt run to suit and folded tamely due to his breathing problem.

i'd be suprised if he wasnt there at the finish!

agree totally. Very much the forgotten horse and would have finished a lot closer to sizing europe last year without that mistake, yet is still 4 times the price. Also Denman was well supported when news of his wind op came out yet Max's tubing seems to have not really beeen picked up on at all. With lingering doubts about all the market leaders this race could be ripe for an upset........

Agree - Mad Max will run a big race.

Carberry is just the man to steer him round at a price!

one of my fav horses, outside bet that just could surprise.
Big Zeb will be bl00dy hard to beat though, especially if the ground dries up.

I've a small interest - just relieved he's ended up in the right race for a start.

According to Hendo ,he does n't know much about cricket so won't be distracted by England's crunch World Cup match against West Indies on Champion Chase day.Confused
