Thanks Mayweather. Someone posted that during the eve it was mentioned that it was likely that Tranquil sea would be announced as a N/R for the ryanair today...did you hear anything?

Mayweather, I thought you had a contact in the yard that insisted Geraughty was on Sprinter Sacre?

Paddy Brennan, Matt Chapman and Robert Cooper said they heard rumours that Tranquil Sea was out and that it was trading large on Betfair but I had odds checker up on my phone and I could not see the big drift?

I am not sure if its true or not?

Time For Rupert's owner was there and he was very confident that the horse will win. He thinks it's next year's Gold Cup horse.

Paddy Brennan said that Time For Rupert was his best bet of the festival while he believes Hurricane Fly is a big lay.

The whole pannel fancied Big Bucks to defend his crown and thought Grands Crus price was too short now although Kieran Packman has backed Grands Crus at 8/1 without Big Bucks and is sweating buckets everyday hoping it gets there in one piece.

Most of the Panel reckon Medermit's jumping is too slow for him to win the Arkle but he looked decent enough at Sandown. They also said he finds nothing off the bridle, he did in the Supreme Novices two years ago after running up Cousin Vinny's ass! Three more strides and he would have beat Go Native.

Mayweather whether you are right or wrong about him not winning you should stop coming on here and telling lies. You're entitled to your opinion about the races but telling lies that other peoples horses are out of the festival is not right and is not on.

I am, I'm not being nasty to anybody. I am just sticking to my guns regarding Imperial Commander. I am totally against this horse. I am laying him big time. I cannot have this horse. I do not like the trainer and I do not like the mouth the trainer gave to Paul Nicholls before the Betfair Chase stating that Paul Nicholls was chicken etc for not running Kauto in the race. I badly and I mean Badly want Imperial Commander beaten.

Paddy Brenan actually said "Imperial Commander is the one to beat 100%. He looks a million."..he also states that Long Run is a good horse but might not egt up the hill. Don't listen to Mayweather.

In fact if you read the gg blog he says Imperial Commander could win if he was 90% fit. He also say KK will be ridden for a e/w shout. He doesn't say anything aboutr HF as the clown states .

Regarding IC, PB may not have been as confident ( he was very bullish last year) about IC but still thinks the horse will win, "one to beat " "looks a million now" " will be good enough to beat these"

Would be interesting to know how the schooling session went this morning for IC?

At the end the panel were asked for the bet / lay of the week

PB bet was Time for Rupert and his lay was HF

paddy started off talking about ic and he wasnt at all confident ...as the conversation went on he said that ic is about 85-90pc the horse he was last year,but he,l still beat this lot.
he said ..if youd asked me 2week ago id not be happy bout his chance but hes improved in the last 2week.

btw..the hanger on as he was described...gave kilty storm last season..and it ran a mighty race.

Paddy had to be confident last year because no-one would listen. This year the horse has favouritism, so why talk him up? You just have to hope he is anywhere near last year. Mayweather has been talking rubbish for ages. IC was not ruled out of the KG by connections until long after Mayweather decided he was, unless he is psychic this proves a point. There is no reason at all to dislike tho horse, even if you do dislike the trainer. The horse has done nothing wrong at all and fair and square won the GC last year, even if he does not win this year why should anyone take glee in that? He just needs to get a grip and think about where he is getting his information from, because it isnt the people in the know!!
