If it stays dry and the ground is good Chelts is going to be massive for the bookies IMO. I can see a lot of the bankers getting gubbed myself. The only big 4 favourite I really fancy is Big Bucks and even he has more oppostion than ever this time. The CH could go to any on of about 7 horses. The QM looks better than last year and there are doubts for me over Big Zeb and MM, I think Sizing or Golden Silver could surprise some. In the Gold Cup there are doubts about all of those at the head of the market and then some unproven but potentially good Irish challengers. I think 1 favourite at best in the big 4 will win myself.

What do you guys think? I think backing more than the odd favourite next week will be punting suicide especially if the going lacks the word soft to some degree.

I am really optimistic of a good week for the punters.

Well it certainly can't be as bad as last year Cry

Bookies obviously. They run books to 120%+. Given that there's so many contenders ine ach race and every bookie bitch in the racing media trying to convince you three legged horses can win at Cheltenham, then the bookies are counting it already.

I personally think the bookies will get away with it this year because the punters are trying to be too clever! Understandable after last year with so many favourites getting turned over, but im convinced the likes of Cue Card winning, Time For Rupert winning, Big Bucks winning and Imperial Commander winning will hurt the bookies as much as it should, because everyone's off trying to find 'value' alternatives!

*won't hurt the bookies as much as it should

Bookies without a shadow of a doubt.

Disparate form lines, with animals avoiding each other all season. Almost certainly different going to what has been taking place all season and plenty of mug-money around.

Hopefully
All the study has led punters to the same and correct conclusions and all the bookies will be living in mud huts come Saturday.Cool

Realistically.
The punters should get ready to have at least 4 winners that are totally off the radar (as well as the usual 4!) - the form lines are mostly on soft and heavy - it will be like a road in comparison come Weds afternoon.
