I'd love to see Imperial Commander win again because imo he hasn't been given the credit he deserves for winning first time around. People would have to respect his achievement winning back to back Gold Cups.
|

I've always prefered Denman to KS. But now it feels like Kauto has been written off as past it I'd love to see him win. A good ground GC and you never know there is still a slim chance he could pull it off.

no bet in the race but Cue Card,
Joe Tizzard gets a bit of stick on here. |

Washington Irvine. We might see a few more of those flat horses have their balls chopped off and put over hurdles next year. Would be great to see a Derby 1-2-3 try to frank the form in the Triumph hurdle.

Yes, forgive me - Washington Irving takes top spot!

denman
i also like lough derg as horses go, ive always just taken to him, just want to see him win! |
|
By:
*Irvine - just noticed, I keep misspelling his name.
I must be thinking that a change of tactics by deed poll will make him win! Lough Derg would be a great winner. I love the 'battlers'. |

Pandorama
Unlikely I'll have a penny on him. I'd consider backing with Good to Soft/soft in places but thats unlikely on Gold Cup day. I'd cheer him home though. |

Lough Derg or Kauto winning would make the Festival and more for me.

Another vote for Cue Card
Last year the atmosphere went abit flat after Dunguib got beat, and would get the Tuesday off to a great start. Also, feel sorry for Tizzard over Joe Lively and Kilmurry this year, and the latest blow with Hell's Bay - fella deserves a bit of luck |
|
By:
Tidal Bay,for the stick he receives.
|
|
By:
Denman country mile, favourite horse ever.
Powerstation - won't happen obviously, but impeccable festival placing record Cue Card because I hope he's as good as I think he is honourable mentions for Lough Derg and Kauto Star |

All of Sparky May, Cue Card and Tidal Bay would be really special for different reasons.
But victories for either Denman or Mr McGoldrick would bring a tear to my eye and a lump to my eye. Unlikrly to back any of them with the possible exception of Cue Card. Barafundle is a nice shout too - I also like the cut of that yard's jib. |
|
By:
^ that's a lump to my throat - lump to my eye more liely to occur after skirmish prompted by overhearing some oik cheering a faller.

Gone To Lunch in the Foxhunters - even Lazarus would be proud of him if he can do it
