how many times are we gona hear this over the 4 day, every 2 yards theres like 10 touts lol , do these people really make money

it would be lovely if cheltenham could remove them.
BEWARE they and they know who they are will sell PRE-SCANNED TICKETS very cheaply YOU WILL NOT GET IN ive seen them trying to buy tickets for a fiver !then pass em throuigh the fence to their mates outside they will offer em for a tennner outside YOU WILL NOT GET IN ON THE CHEAP BEWARE
2 years ago , needed ticket for my missus gold cup day w/out hassle , quickly . bought one 2 hrs before racing . badge , 60 quid.hour later mate turned up with freebie . back to tout with badge , said give me 50, no chance he said ...will be 40 quid soon . i asked him for 10 at that price . he stuttered , gave me 50 for mine and legged it . desperate way to make a living from all angles .
They interupt the flow of punter traffic on the way up to the course - for that they should be removed (finally a use for our Health and Safety culture).
Mind you Cheltenham themselves do it - radios, that ticket caravan office with a snake like queue outside it , the timeform and racing post kiosks etc etc.
Then you have activists, people emptying the Irish independent to give you a program for a quid, buskers, table dancers and bookmaker fliers ...... it all adds to the buzz though
