This fella flying under the radar a fair bit - of interest to me at big prices in a wide open Neptune. With Zaidpour set for the opener, can we assume DOAL will be running over 2m5f a week tomorrow and not in the Supreme? If making the trip at all?
Laughed at Oscars Well when winning on debut, went nuts in the Bumper 12 months ago (a concern) when fancied, pleasing enough start when beating subsequent winner on only hurdles start.
I know he was a late NR last week with a bruised foot but price steady on here now.
Needs to jump an awful lot better than he did on his debut (freely admitted by Mullins). Pulled very hard and ran extremely wide in the bumper last year and its possible better ground may be against him.

Happy to forgive last year's bumper blowout much more so than his sticky jumping at Leopardstown (agreed needs to be much better) but clearly has plenty of ability and big fan of his sire King's Theatre; compiling an incredible Cheltenham strike rate. Better ground not too much of a concern for me.

VW....Good call, lightly raced, very interesting if he turns up for either entry.Does not look short of pace either, got a feeling he might go for the supreme, anyone shed any light???

Agreed - I liked the way he won at Leopardstown and if he improves his jumping I would love to see him line up in the Neptune. A worry for me is that Zaidpour (Supreme)& So Young (Neptune) seem to be the stables 1st string

DD.....jumping seemed better as race progressed, always feel the less mentioned the better from this stable, lower priced stablemates?? again not unduly concerned.

Just had one run and missed an engagement last week .. surely that is a big negative ?
The horse also wore Earplugs on debut, and will do so in the furture. He doesn't like all the razzmatazz apparently.

Mullins in RP today: "I was very happy with the way DOAL jumped today and am leaning towards running him in the Neptune rather than the Supreme."
Went to the Curragh yesterday for a schooling session. Worked with Quevega, Aleez Garde and Sir Des Champs.
Willie has finally woken up it seems.
