It might be on page two by now to be fair; I think it's called 'Your Ante Post Bets' or something.
I don't mind in the slightest, I like the topic and it's nice to know the result of everyone's thoughts on here...problem is I end up looking a bit of a tit, cos I change my mind everything second!lol I think you'll find me bigging up Binocular elsewhere, but now I think Menorah has everything needed to win and a better bet at the price!

Good luck all.

In order of placement.. 8pts win Cue Card, Champion Hurdle, 12/1 NRNB 2pts win Finians Rainbow, Arkle, 12/1 5pts each way Grand Crus, World Hurdle, 12/1 NRNB 3pts each way Thousand Stars, Champion Hurdle, 100/1 NRNB 2.5pts each way China Rock, Gold Cup, 80/1 2pts each way Sizing Europe, Champion Chase, 16/1 NRNB 1pt each way Sam Winner, Supreme, 33/1 NRNB
That's the lot. No 'nons' so far, although looking like cash back on Cue Card which was always the likeliest scenario.
Still confident Thousand Stars and China Rock will outrun their odds.

I've added Pandorama to my GC bets at 6pts win 20/1 with William Hill.
Him and Kempes are likely to shorten on the day and I really think they are the 2 with the liveliest chances of upsetting the top 4 in the betting.

Thanks. I actually think Dunraven is under rated. He was given far too much to in the ealry part of the season (4 races in about 6 weeks from memory). He beat Recession Proof off levels weights when they had both had a prep run in the Autumn and so at the odds I think he is excellent value. I'm not sure that his 8 lengths loss to Cue Card was his best form and I know that his next run was not right. His jumping is solid and I would rather he ran than get my dough back.

The policy of using points has been on here for many years. It shouldn't take long for anyone to sort out the marks from the mugs on here and the point system clearly sets out the strength of confidence behind each selection. It doesn't matter whether a point is two pounds or two grand, what matters is your own opinion of the forumite posting.

I'm afraid I may have over reached on Riverside now. I added another *ahem* 20 pts at 6/1 NRNB this morning. Every year I have one banker that I really fancy and back more than anything else. It's not normal for me that my banker at the festival is as big as 6 and 7/1 though. In the past my banker has been Denman in the RSA and Inglis 3 times but I have also lost when Moscow fell the year Azertyioup won the CC and I lost on Master Minded last year. It's weird but the two years my banker selection lost were the 2 years I came out the most up. RT wont be 6/1 on the day, it's the stand out AP bet for me right now. No way should Poquelin be fav if RT turns up so 6/1 NRNB looks plenty big enough.

Nice prices Sint, WD. Cracking tickle on Cockney Trucker. Every chance over the last which must have been a thrill. No excuses for Finians, just outstayed. Certainly dispelled the theory he can't leap.

yes indeed. Think he could be a good thing for the G1 novices at Aintree. He could get away with his running style around there like Tataniano did last year. It's very hard to do that kind of thing at Cheltenham. Damn Hobbsy and his late defection! [;)]
