having read on "horses out for the sason" lacdoudal was mentioned in being in that bracket. However the horse is still qouted at around the 8/1 mark for the cross country at the festival(same price on betfair).Having backed this horse for the above race i would be gutted if the horse out for the season plus more importantly why is it still in the markets. would appreciate any info.

Seems to be a lot of confusion around this, have seen numerous threads. Despite still being on a few bookies lists, it would appear that although he has not been officially retired, he is definitely out for the season.
hobbs should come out and say whats happening as ive got this horse an a couple of ante post lucky 15s, they were only placed a couple of weeks ago and apparantly the horse was injured in november BANG OUT OF ORDER my bets will be goosed.
To be fair, I think Hobbs has confirmed, maybe a couple of months ago, that he was out for season. I think the main theme of the threads around this horse, was anger directed towards the bookies who were still pricing him up, even though he was out injured.
