I have a competition going with friend of mine and could do with the following answered.
Is Spirit River out for the season through injury or are connections saying they could get him back after the Festival but want to protect his novice status?

I think they are probably just giving him some time off after what really has been a pretty dissapointing season. He is obviously still well thought of and tbh he looks like he should be great over fences. They probably just want to start a fresh next year novice chasing and I imagine they will be doing lots of work on his jumping.
so the latter masterminded you think - they could have run it somewhere if they really wanted to?
