price has been slowly drifting for the last week. reached 6.80 today. suddenly all the lay side prices have disappeared bar £25 at 10 and above. last matched price was 7.20 - 2 ticks above previous price. looks fishy to me. anyone any news?
tbh i only spotted it myself as i have been monitoring the market as a backer (and potential further backer) of the fly. since i first posted there has been a further £12 added to the lay side but the market is still wildly unbalanced and has huge spread of 6.80-8.60

Luckily I've got a much bigger price than he is now, and I'm in two minds whether to lay my stake back at 6/1. If he runs and he wins I still win overall, if he doesn't run its cost me nothing.
Got stung last week with Flat Out and don't want it to happen again

Was due to him being stiff after the Irish Champion hurdle and a few getting worries about that. Then people are not really interested in backing him antepost and would prefer to wait for non runner no bet.

"Hurricane Fly was a little stiff on Monday following his win in the BHP Insurances Irish Champion Hurdle the previous day," the Irish handler wrote in the Racing Post.
"But that passed quickly and he has been striding out to his chin every since and seems to have come out of the race very well.
"Now everything will be geared to having him tip-top for the big one at Cheltenham on March 15."
