You couldn't help but be impressed with Grands Crus today. A brilliant hurdler with a good attitude.

cant knock Mourad or GC,unless you are so biased that you are totally blinkered!!
both have now proved that they are more than entitled to be given a chance,and probably still improving.
BB will be tough to beat of course,but both deserve respect imo

Would love to see Fiveforthree go for this too. What looked a formality a month ago could end up being a fascinating race.

Benny travelled like a good un but blew up. I was blown away by Grands Crus  but he still has it all to do to beat Big Buck's

I repeat my pre-xmas post ' BB rated 159 pre Cleeve , two years older , 21 races . GC rated 158 pre Cleeve 7 races ' .
The horse could have won a distance had it run straight , it jumps better and its a more straightforward ride than BB , all it has to do is prove itself in March.

Was an awesome performance today - Big Bucks would never have won like that, but then he isn't that type of horse anyway.

Bookies have it about right at 4/5 + 3/1 but at least it makes things interesting.

Can't have Mourad though

Sensational performance today and I will be backing this beast big time. I think he can beat Big Buck's with a repeat of that, and would imagine he has the greater speed, which should mean Scu can hunt BB before asking GC to quicken late on.

I just hope Big Buck's gets there fit and well. That way Grands Crus will remain odds against.

also Big Bucks cheated at Newbury because of the fog and only joined in on the second circuit - looked that way at the finish anyway.
