very unlikely I would say, already won over the Coral trip at Cheltenham and related to a gold cup winner so he will end up over a trip. Henderson already said that he is a saying chaser in the making, so I would be amazed of they go for the County.

Binocular and Big Zeb would be my naps at present. NRNB eachway acca with Laddies is a must for eveyone, imo.
In the past month or so i've also put them two in with various other horses , such as Ghizao, and Time For Rupert, in eachway acca's. I think the 4-timer paid about 1300/1 but i'd need to check the odds again. |

Cue Card all the way baby! His run behind Menorah really is a sensational mark for a novice. If he runs to that on March 15 it is hard to see anything bettering it (especially as the opposition this year does not seem to be amounting to anything out of the ordinary).

Cue Card desperately slow over 2 miles, another ridiculous comment from dananders
 Cue Card is pitched in at a high level on only his third start over hurdles and travels like the best horse throughout much of the race, and denied only by Supreme winner and top weight Greatwood winner Menorah. The same Menorah who hasn't a change of gear yet seemingly finds more and more for pressure. Can somebody give me a piece of form that comes close to this for a 2m novice hurdler this season please? cheers |

with everyone tipping horses at the top of the market in the big races, and refusing to look further down i think i will just lay at this years festival and take everyones money. saves time studying form

Sounds wierd to be even considering a handicap as a betting mediaum at this stage but Sunnyhillboy for The Wm Hill H'cap on the Tuesday looks plausible.
I think this has been plotted up for this Festival and the Wm Hill looks a plausible target. Jonjo has a good record in this race, the horse has Festival form, having come second to Great Endeavour in the Festival Plate last season and it's owned by JP McManus. Been put away since coming third to Poquelin in the **** and unexposed at 3 miles. Unfortunately, the early markets both here and with the High St bookies seem to have worked this out too  |

i now think silviniaco conti is possibly the bet of the festival in terms of bet-to-lay!!! will a horse with ruby walsh onboard at cheltenham festival, as nicholls only runner in a championship race, go off at 45/1....? somehow i cant see it!

i agree that if i had to pick a banker it would be quevega, just dont feel comfortable napping a horse that hasnt been seen for a year though :/ and i know was same last year but anything could change in that period of time

Here's my second go...
For Non Stop in the Coral Cup 16/1 available. Just look at the form of the run at the Paddy Power meeting... beaten by Grands Crus, yet 11 lengths clear of the third. Likes of Hidden Keel (ran really well in novice chases next twice) and Lush Life (won big hcap at chelts nto) were beaten miles and it just looks the best handicap of the season. Ran next in the Challow, but wasn't fit for the race, Nick Williams said he had missed vital pieces of work during the big freeze period. He ran like that was exactly the case, absolutely cruised through ... then went into the fog.. came out of it, beaten 10 lengths! Apparently the jockey said he just blew up after looking the winner. The form of that race is hot as well with Al Ferof and Court In Motion both winning next time v impressively. He's trained by Nick Williams and is still a 6 year old, so is an obvious type to progress as well. Now, I'm not going balls deep until confirmed a runner, so this is a bit hypothetical, but i really hope they go this way. |

Just said pretty much the same on the Grand Crus thread TD do you think he could possibly go for the 2m5f novice hurdle at the festival or do you think the handicap mark is just too good to resist and they will go for the coral cup?

To be honest, I don't know where he's going to turn up, but the Coral Cup would be my guess (plus there's been a bit of money for him for the race, 20/1 was available couple of days ago) I was surprised they went for the Challow, I thought they would go for a handicap after his run at Cheltenham, so maybe Nick Williams sees him as a genuine Grade 1 horse ? He's not listed in the bookies list for the Neptune though..... |

No and about 60 on here for small money for the neptune.Looks as though the handicap is the most likely if this is anything to go by
