personally dont think big bucks will lose so leaves a place for grand crus... think imperial commander has a big chance but do fancy others myself, still should be near certain for a place and a decent win chance.... wayward prince was by rsa horse at beginning of year but (if he goes for it) time for rupert has been impressive and i like wymott alot, although still think wayward prince is grreat value at 16s for win/place... i dont fancy mille chief for champion hurdle but do think it is decent enough value for a place. i fancy soldatino to have a chance and it won the triumph that mille chief would probably have been favourite for if had run, and has won last twice giving heaps of weight away on poor ground so couldnt rule out... think a decent chance of profit on the place side, not so much the win but thats only my opinion :)

Cheers Paul. Like Wymott too, backed it ante post for Albert Bartlett last year at 66s and never got a run for my money.
Hope that dont come back to haunt me this year.
Looks to be a better chaser too.

Imperial Commander must now be the one to beat in the Gold Cup, highly likely to finish in the frame anyway.
If I was to have an e/w yankee myself:
Jessies Dream RSA 16/1 Pandorama GC 16/1 Big Zeb CC 7/2 Realt Dubh Arkle 25/1

To be fair Denman you said profit for the bookies. You put up one horse the same as me and that aint the obvious one. You telling me you can have Imperial Commander out of the first three? If not, then you agree with 50% of my picks!
Think Mille Chief may surprise a few

i think wymott's jumping has impressed me most, and the form is beginning to look very clever. if the ground goes soft those prices could looks ridiculously big slabster, gl!

Can see a lot of sense in the e/w on Wayward Prince and possibly also Grand Crus, though with that one the win part perhaps may be rather wasted in terms of its place in a multiple. CH is making up to be an ultra-competitive race, so I would be sceptical about betting anything e/w in that race for a multiple. Imperial Commander looks solid - just a bit of a concern that it looks like he will be going to the festival on the back of such a long gap since his last race.
Woolcombe Folly for the CC has some attractions as one to consider for an e/w multiple, as the place part looks more than a reasonable bet given the likely lack of depth in the field, and his last run on the face of it just about brings him into the picture in terms of the win part of the bet. Not sure there is going to be a lot of depth in the Arkle field, so Ghizao's useful experience this season might make him one to consider as a solid e/w for a multiple at around 6/1.
