Emma Lavelle did not hide the fact that she thought a lot of Court in Motion as she picked the horse as her one to follow from her stable for this season. After reading this on her website on 03/01/11:
"Court in Motion was our first runner back after the freeze and I was very aware that we were a good way behind on work. Although we could see very little at Newbury, I was absolutely delighted to see Court in Motion emerging from the fog to finish 2nd in the Challow. He had a very good blow afterwards and Sam was quick to point out that he will improve enormously on that run. My intention would be to give him one more run before the Albert Bartlett at the Festival. If the ground comes up slow I would imagine he will give the opposition a fair bit to think about"
On reading that I backed CIM at 14's for the AB. Delighted to see him win easily ysterday but a bit annoyed to read Emma saying in the RP today "If it came up soft he could go for the AB at the festival but I don't want to specifically aim him at that race and not get a run, as it can be quick there" !!!
