Mayweather you really are King Of the Forum!!!
All your horses are now on offer at much shorter odds than you took, would appear all will go for the races you bet them for, would also appear that you havent backed any non runners. I bow down to your brilliance, well done. I also thought it was a cert that you wouldnt be able to resist your boasting(lying) in this thread. Muppet |

Just the one so far 2 pts peddlers cross non runner no bet 6/1.
I will only bet non runner no bet. I bet across all selections in such as way 1 winner all money back, 2 winners doubles profit, 3 winners etc. Depending on outlay and how many selections at the festival the above stake may increase to match return of outlay. Last year i had 4 wins, year before 3, year before that 3 :) your not gonna win every race so just aim for 2-3 winners in my opinion. |

£20 4-Fold - Cue Card (Supreme Novices @ 5/2), Time For Rupert (RSA @ 3/1), Finians Rainbow (Arkle @ 6/1), Imperial Commander (Gold Cup @ 7/2)
£10 4-Fold - Cue Card (Supreme Novices @ 5/2), Time For Rupert (RSA @ 3/1), Somersby (Ryanair @ 8/1), Imperial Commander (Gold Cup @ 7/2) £10 4-Fold - Cue Card (Supreme Novices @ 5/2), Time For Rupert (RSA @ 3/1), Big Zeb (Champion Chase @ 7/2), Imperial Commander (Gold Cup @ 7/2) £50 Double - Cue Card (Supreme Novices @ 5/2), Time For Rupert (RSA @ 3/1) Nothing flashy in the prices but im sure once Cue Card is confirmed for the Supreme Novices he'll go 7/4 general, Time For Rupert once confirmed for the RSA will go 2/1 tops, Somersby 5/1 in the Ryanair, and on the day I see Imperial Commander going off 2's. |

£600 up minimum if cue card and rupert win looks decent, could have an exciting friday dwm767! u one that will lay it off if only IC left?
|
|
By:
Don't have the available funds to make it worthwhile to be honest! Trying to stick to selections which although obvious, I feel have a solid chance! If it's all going strong come Friday I wouldn't want any horse other than Imperial Commander carrying my hopes anyway; every other horse has something to prove, if he turns up within a few lbs as last year he'll win im sure of it!
|
|
By:
i hope for ur sake that ur right (although he is the only one i lose on at the moment in gold cup haha) but would be much bigger win ur end! what u think rupert's main dangers could be?

I'm convinced he's in a class of his own in the race, my only real concern would be the going! If it's good, good/soft then I suppose Mikael D'Haguenet could make a race of it, I think he'll be suited by better ground and a longer trip than he ran on last time, and I think Paul Townend might give him a slightly more aggressive ride...!!
If it was to come up soft id give Wymott and Quito De La Roque a good chance; there's no reason why Hells Bay should reverse the form, and Jessie's Dream im not sold on at all! Who's your main play in the Gold Cup then? I've torn that race apart countless times now and every time ive come up with Imperial Commander!! |
|
By:
yeh i like wymott and have had a bet on that with a small saver on quito de la roque at 80s, also got the minack at 80s. i really like pride of dulcote for the gold cup (took a nice price aswel), and i still really like what a friend, although i seem alone in that. pandorama would come into it on soft and obviously IC has the most solid claims, not sure what else i could see winning though :/
|
|
By:
I see where you're coming from with What A Friend, I think he's a decent each way bet in the race! Pandorama scares me a bit if im honest; I think he's pure class, but a) im not sure he's the toughest of types and id be concerned about him travelling over, and b) I think the key to him is to get him switched off and into a rhythm, and going on his Hennessey run it doesn't take an awful to to break his concentration; can be one for the street fighters the Gold Cup and I think he might be a little bit soft! Pride of Dulcote im not sure will stay the trip well enough.
Elsewhere, Long Run won't stay, Kauto Star I just can't back on recent form, Denman I can't see why he should reverse form with Imperial Commander, Diamond Harry I think prefers a flat track, Sizing Europe won't stay, and Midnight Chase I don't think has the class! Congrats on price Quito De La Roque, that's a crack punt! |
|
By:
cheers. i agree with comments on long run, diamond harry, sizing europe and midnight chase. i dont see why denman should reverse form with IC but still wouldnt rule it out as he's a beast. kauto i would still back on good ground, all poor runs have been on soft. pride of dulcote i think will be alright, stayed well enough over 3m against weapons amnesty in albert bartlett at chelt. pandorama to me is the most talented up and coming horse around but may want it softer than will get. let down in hennessy but was said to need the run it should have got when withdrawn at start (down royal race the nightingale won) and having missed out on that subsequently needed the hennessy run imo. looked different class in lexus and i think will win irish hennessy and if soft will be the one to beat in gold cup. what a friend was said to be targeting gold cup and abit behind the rest in start of season stable tour, so willing to overlook betfair run. think he will win the AON and then have a big chance in gold cup. michel le bon i think will follow same path as WAF in going for totesport bowl at aintree this year and be prepped for gold cup next year :)

You could be right! I'd be interested to see What A Friend run in blinkers in the Gold Cup, I think he'll improve for it!
I'm not so sure about Pandorama, I was at Newbury for the Hennessey and he seemed to be travelling fine until he was hampered when I think Tricky Trickster fell, that seemed to put him right off his game! Plus im not sure they'd of brought him over if they genuinely felt he'd need the run; it's a hard race the Hennessey and a lot way to come for a seasonal prep! I agree he was impressive in the Lexus, although im not sure quite what he beat...Cooldine is not the horse we saw win the RSA at Cheltenham, Money Trix is a complete mud lover, and Joncol needs further! I would love to see Denman win the race, even if it scuppered my bet; I adore the horse! Problem is I think to win the race he'll have to be ridden very aggressively and im not sure he's got that in him anymore! Kauto, yeah on good ground he is a different horse, although I think it'll be something of a training miracle if they have him A1 fit on the day following Saturday's run, and im not sure he jumps well enough when pressed around Cheltenham anyway! Pride of Dulcote, again you may be right, I just felt he was all out to win at Newbury, and I don't see he's entitled to improve an awful lot from that run. Also staying over fences and staying over hurdles are two very different things, a fence will take twice as much out of him as a hurdle will. Exciting thought, can't wait! :) |
