Essexguy, you talk complete rubbish so be quiet! The connections would not even try Workforce over hurdles you clown. He is being trained for a big season on the flat. He will win the Coronation Cup at Epsom and the King George at Ascot. You are so thick, you expect me to believe the rubbish you come out with lol. He will possibly be retired at the end of the year. You are thick, people don't send Derby winners over hurdles these days lol. Oh yeah, you are so thick you thought that Galileo who won the Royal & SunAlliance Novices Hurdle was the same horse as the one that won the Epsom Derby. You are a complete wally! You bore me and cannot tip a snooker cue lol

I don't think he is saying that Workforce will run over hurdles, just that Stoute schooled him over some, which a lot of trainers do as a bit of fun for the horses and to keep them interested. I don't know whether it is true that essex saw Workforce school, but it is completely plausible that he did.

By:
essexguy
When: 11 Jan 11 20:25
Alverado, just because he says it will. it will win but he cant tell you who it will be running against, so i can only think this horse is better than any other 4 year old training in the world.
quite why he is still 10-1 i dont know . if i thought he was that good id remorgage, and the price would drop like a stone. tha guy is nuts.

I'm all for listening to the views of other people (even if they're wrong) but this Gay Leather chappie is too much. I can almost picture him foaming at the mouth as he types in sheer indignation and disbelief that not everybody's hanging on his word. The best thing about the anonymity of this forum is that we don't have to actually meet his ilk - perish the thought.....I can't imagine that he'd allow anyone else to even speak.....he'd just shout them down!

he hasnt even been seen on a racecourse yet so theres no reason to believe he will win it. didnt franklino come with a similar reputation?

reading the threads think a few chill pills needed - state of play as i see it is:
YES
been working v well and nicholls thinks he's the real deal which is why he has backed it himself for the triumph
NO
he's yet to do it on the track over hurdles and the triumph ante-post history is littered with horses with big reputations who dont deliver

therein lies the rub, you pays your money and take your choice and no need for some of the manic stuff below. for disclosure i have backed it for the triumph a while back, but am taking a balanced view that could go pear shaped but i have put my money down and now let's see what happens....

wouldnt back any horse i hadnt seen run yet myself based on homework or the views of trainers/connections/ante-post punters but good luck with your horse, plenty of races with form you can look at and take your chances on,races like the triumph have a new fav far too often based on hype and one bad run pushes the ones with decent form out to backable prices...how many favs so far this year and how many been talked up as the winner already..sam winner, smad place,a media luz, brampour, grandouet, balerina ect.....nice to be on them at good prices but sometimes patience is the best virtue.

Does anyone remember the Henderson horse According owned by Victor Meldrew? He came into fav for the Triumph at the beginning of Feb on the same pretence - now unplaced in 4 hurdles starts. Similar thing with Super Kenny. With these raw 4yo, until they do it on the track, you can't really know what you've got for sure. Brampour is a ridiculous favourite. I've posted above that the girl I know says he's very good. But I think a lot of people are jumping on the fact Nicholls has backed it. Last year he backed Tatenen for the Arkle - and that turned out to be really shrewd didn't it.

Harry Skelton will take the ride on Brampour at Kempton on Saturday. I have been told he is in great shape and will run a massive race. For all you Sam Winner antepost backers I advise you back Brampour now if you want to get your losses back from Sam Winner.

You are thick Essexyguy, read what I said. I backed it before I realised it was a real machine. I only found out when I saw him schooling how good he really was. He won't get beat. When it wins I'm going to rub it in your faces hee hee ;-)

You saw him schooling?

What weight was he carrying?
Who was he schooling with?
What were the trainers instructions to the jockey of both horses?
What did he actually do in terms of number of hurdles jumped or distance covered?
Did you carry a stopwatch or was it a purely visual interpretation you obtained. If the latter what is your expertise in judging schooling exercises without any of the information in the initial questions?

You lot are muppets! Why would I tell you bunch of weasels. The whole lot of you are wasters. I am the king of this forum. I backed Brampour when I knew he would win the Triumph Hurdle. I backed him even more when I found out he would win it by 10 lengths plus. ;-) Happy days!

cvb, you obviously dont understand how things work on here. if this big bucks horse is a good thing which mayweather informs us he is, he must not be mentioned on here so as to protect his price[;)] feel free to inform others via inbox[;)]
