What were the trainers instructions to the jockey of both horses?
What did he actually do in terms of number of hurdles jumped or distance covered?
Did you carry a stopwatch or was it a purely visual interpretation you obtained. If the latter what is your expertise in judging schooling exercises without any of the information in the initial questions?

My advice is to keep your own counsel and let the horse do the talking. I half hope he hacks up but i fear that you wont be able to restrain yourself if he does so in the strangest of ways you have given me a nice hedge to my bet. Many thanks

Yeah, Plenty Pockets is entered in several races. They believe he might be a better horse next season. Al Ferfo is a good horse but has not hit his peak yet.

This was a class 4 novice hurdle. No chance in the Triumph.
Grandouet is now 10/1 for the Triumph, Moai Chinn Tire beat this on its hurdle debut by 20L in a Listed race. The latter is still 20/1+ for the race.
