obvious isnt it.doesnt want him to go further up the weights and will now surely be aimed at his dads race again and not the queen mum.
Report bigben December 30, 2010 10:25 AM GMT
Your probably right, but it could also be a fact finding mission over the 2 1/2 mile trip at Cheltenham.
Report Paul4 December 30, 2010 3:09 PM GMT
i had down for ryanair after henderson implied it in his stable table, so hopeefully ur right bigben. i guess could be for his dad's race though as stable has alot of ryanair candidates :(
Report abbott December 30, 2010 9:54 PM GMT
bigben is spot on. he goes in this. if he proves he stays he will then go for the 2m5f handicap chase at the piller meeting then for the ryanair.
Report abbott December 30, 2010 9:55 PM GMT
and for what its worth Mad Max looks more probable for his dads race now and would be lower in the weights.

oh good, my wallet hopes ur right! :D

What the fook is happening with this horse? Entered at Sandown Saturday, handicap chase over 2m

Have backed him for the QM so the fact that he is entered here is pleasing, but majorly disappointed not to have seen him yet
Report Paul4 January 5, 2011 8:32 PM GMT
have backed him big (for me) in the ryanair, have also backed at a decent enough saver price for QM, but also wouldnt rule out running in his dads race as TDTT said above. i like the horse so hope it wins something!

If runs well off 158 at Sandown surely they'd have to go QM?
Report Paul4 January 5, 2011 8:37 PM GMT
yup, similar to woolcombe folly having run that blinder at cheltenham. thought that might go over further this year but didnt have a saver on QM and regret it now :( think french opera could go well over either, although small worry that if it is so capable over both it isnt top class over either?!
Report R Carver January 5, 2011 8:51 PM GMT
I am not altogether sure the railway fences will play to his strengths; i do believe he could win off 158 if 'right' - but will he be right first time out?
Report Far From Trouble January 5, 2011 8:58 PM GMT
Has a decent record off the back of a break.

What else does Henderson have for the QM apart from Petit Robin?
Report Paul4 January 5, 2011 9:07 PM GMT
on the back of the cheltenham run Petit Robin wouldnt be without a chance imo. also think Mad Max could be dropped back in trip for QM, mistake arguably cost him the arkle last year
Report Far From Trouble January 5, 2011 9:12 PM GMT
Petit Robin has tried and failed, and can't see him doing it now

Mad Max i'm still undecided about

Long Run should go for the QM imo
Report Paul4 January 5, 2011 9:15 PM GMT
finished in front of all but master minded last time out though, not without a chance. agree about long run, i cant see it winning any big races over 2m5f, and 2m round chelt may wel suit it.
