Not sure i could place an ante post bet before seeing the horse run ok if it comes out and hacks up odds will half however if it doesnt then could be a wasted bet like Titan de Sarti at Cheltenham on Saturday i saw the horse in the paddock and it looked great so much so i went and had another bet on it however it didnt run any race, betting on unraced horse ante post is more media hype than anything and you should tread carefully but i suppose there is a bit of risk and reward

indian daudaie from nicholls yard (he has said that sam winner may not go triumph and brampour hype should be held back til it proves itself) won an 18k hurdle at auteuil, then was runner up in a 100k+ listed hurdle (stayed on over 2m2f on heavy but was giving winner 5lb) could be interesting when it appears

I like your Triumph threads every year. Had some good ones and then there was Donegal, who I fancied too. Didn't he cost 150k !!
I was at Leoprardtown for hie debut and he took so long getting over the first hurdle, he went from 2nd to last

Can't get them right everytime, but I had Donegal too before he'd jumped a hurdle. Sometimes you just have to laugh really.
Barizan, Starluck, Franchoek, Katchit, Detroit City they were my last ones. Not a big fan of the race really.

Zarkander has a great chance i think. im not in the least bit worried about his experience and i dont see any other negatives. winning the adonis when not fully wound up, 9/1 looks good

Backed both Detroit City and Katchit on the day as I wasn't an antepost player back then. But all the others were antepost, but they all lost
I unfortunately backed A Media Luz for the Fred Winter when she was given a 119 mark and don't really think she'll win the Triumph so won't back her for that. But think you're due a win. So Good luck

I also appreciate your Triumph threads, in fact Cheltenham wouldn't be the same without them. Too bad we no longer have the individual race analyses
Anyway things are looking pretty good for AML right now. Good luck.
(I'm on Smad Place and a bit concerned at the absence of anybody trying to back him right now).

Yeah, looks like his choice now, since he trains molotov if he runs him in the Fred Winter then AML has 11-4 and his prefered easier race for her.
He's some eijet though. Some ap backers will be burnt by his constant changing of his mind.

I think prior to Katchit the last time I backed a winner in this was Royal Epic when Ten Up slogged through the mud to win the Gold Cup.
It's now one of the most reliable races to back in since the Fred Winter was introduced and I won't look beyond Grandouet who looks a class act despite having beat nothing of note.
One outsider who could go well is Local Hero who hated the ground last time and would be going for the Fred Winter if Steve Gollins didn't think he could bounce back.

Third Intention is the stand out value for the race, has not had his ground or gallop all season and will travel all over this field and on good ground can kick clear for an impressive win, without doubt the best double figure Nap of the meeting

"MOLOTOF ran a cracker on his British debut in the Adonis Hurdle but the handicapper’s gone to town on him giving a mark of 143 — up 17lb
There’s no doubt that Molotof ran a good, solid race with potential and it rode like a decent race, too. The ground was on the slow side and he coped with it well as you would have expected from his French form. As for the future, he’s out of the Fred Winter with that sort of weight and there’s not a lot of point in giving his maiden away cheaply. Whatever he achieved this season he’d be better the following one and he’s a horse that has the scope to jump a fence in time.
So it seems that we're back a square one, with AML needing to carry top weight in the FW. Obviously, people can change their mind, but it doesn't seem like they're keen for Molotof to run, so AML could stay in the Triumph

like why is this being discussed, nicky henderson clearly said in the post aml wud run in the triumph and unfortunately barry has made it clear hes gonna ride grandouet over aml, also just a point aswel even if nicky henderson said to the owners maybe take a chance in fred winter the owners wud never not want her to take her chance in triumph after she being the pricewise just another thought
