Hard to say until he's shown how he's recovered from injury...certainly needs 3m so not blessed with loads of choices.
Report bigben October 17, 2010 8:18 PM BST
Id guess he"d probably start off in graduation chases.
Report Reyes October 17, 2010 8:33 PM BST
early Dec start i think
Report 3132 October 17, 2010 8:37 PM BST
You would think so for more experience Ben...unless his handicap mark is reasonable to plunder a larger pot somewhere.
Report THEWIZZ October 21, 2010 1:59 PM BST
think hes a future gold cup winner jumps well and got a engine

I've heard he's possibly going RSA. I've backed him for the Gold Cup though.

sorry ive just read what i posted i meant RYANAIR no great suprise as nicholls has kauto star, denman, neptune collonges, what a friend, taranis(same owner)... I mean I guess he could run if a few dropped out but I think he will go RYANAIR route like Taranis did. sorry about the confusion. no fishing going on LaughLaugh

Just been watching the Paul Nicholls stable tour on RPTV and he says he will probably have a Gold Cup entry.

Happy days because I have backed him on here at huge odds.  Still a ridiculously difficult task to win it, but would be nice to have a run for my money.

Just a shame we couldn't see the race, but interesting..
Report Far From Trouble December 29, 2010 1:37 PM GMT
Had this down as a likely Billy Hill Chase winner, not any more Sad
Report POMPEY1. December 29, 2010 1:42 PM GMT
I've traded my stake back at 20, dream still alive for a four figure win.
Report Paul4 December 29, 2010 1:57 PM GMT
took triple figures for ryanair and gold cup when paul nicholls labelled it as one he was looking forward to. havnt seen todays race, how was it?
Report Far From Trouble December 29, 2010 2:01 PM GMT
Don't think anybody but the jockeys have seen today's race Silly
Report bigben December 29, 2010 7:14 PM GMT
Irish Hennessy next according to Paul Nicholls on twitter.
Report Masterminded December 29, 2010 7:18 PM GMT
Ran a stormer for first race back(in the 100 yards i watched). In all seriousness that was one hell of a run to beat Punchy after such a long lay off with only one previous start over fences. Could he be a Gold Cup horse? I hope so!
Report Paul4 December 29, 2010 7:26 PM GMT
i hope so too with a few quid on at 130s :) going to the irish hennessy so really hope it does go there! thanks
Report 3132 December 30, 2010 9:48 AM GMT
Also mentioned AON Chase and Argento today as well BigBen.

Would have been nice to see a bit more of the race mind you.
Report willie the milk December 30, 2010 10:23 AM GMT
Hopefully the GC as I'm on at 3 figures, like quite a few shrewdies on here Grin
Report 3132 December 30, 2010 3:33 PM GMT
Would surely need to be if he wins 1 of the trials...not going to run in Handicap giving huge chunks of weight away would he ?

Cant see him being a Ryanair type.
Report Paul4 December 30, 2010 3:41 PM GMT
if he wins then irish hennessy then surely will come in even further? have earmarked him for this years gold cup and michel le bon for next year :)
Report Steeplechasing December 30, 2010 6:44 PM GMT
Haven't backed him but was at the 2009 Festival and watched him canter down - one of the finest looking horses I've seen (and superb in his coat that day) - lovely mover too.  Good luck to you with the long odds!
