Hard to say until he's shown how he's recovered from injury...certainly needs 3m so not blessed with loads of choices.

You would think so for more experience Ben...unless his handicap mark is reasonable to plunder a larger pot somewhere.

I've heard he's possibly going RSA. I've backed him for the Gold Cup though.

sorry ive just read what i posted i meant RYANAIR no great suprise as nicholls has kauto star, denman, neptune collonges, what a friend, taranis(same owner)... I mean I guess he could run if a few dropped out but I think he will go RYANAIR route like Taranis did. sorry about the confusion. no fishing going on LaughLaugh

Just been watching the Paul Nicholls stable tour on RPTV and he says he will probably have a Gold Cup entry.

Happy days because I have backed him on here at huge odds.  Still a ridiculously difficult task to win it, but would be nice to have a run for my money.

Had this down as a likely Billy Hill Chase winner, not any more Sad

Ran a stormer for first race back(in the 100 yards i watched). In all seriousness that was one hell of a run to beat Punchy after such a long lay off with only one previous start over fences. Could he be a Gold Cup horse? I hope so!

Also mentioned AON Chase and Argento today as well BigBen.

Would have been nice to see a bit more of the race mind you.

Would surely need to be if he wins 1 of the trials...not going to run in Handicap giving huge chunks of weight away would he ?

Cant see him being a Ryanair type.

Haven't backed him but was at the 2009 Festival and watched him canter down - one of the finest looking horses I've seen (and superb in his coat that day) - lovely mover too.  Good luck to you with the long odds!
