Indeed
Same type of thing with According last year, think that went as short at 7/1 before running a race, when he was duly slammed ![]() Triumph is never an antepost race imo |
By:
Agree entirely. Got caught in the According hype last year and had a bit on at 20's. Made the decision I will never bet AP in this race again.
By:
Never really been a race that's got my juices going tbh.
Too many talking horses for me |
By:
How anyone can be getting involved in this race b4 xmas is mad!!!
By:
Enjoyed the fact that bookies have slashed the odds on A Media Luz because Franklino disappointed even though she is yet to be seen in a hurdle race
, Ante post on this race at this time of year is, as Stevo says, madness. |
By:
Never have a decent bet on this race antepost as it is a lottery until closer to the time when taking 4s about something with v good form still doesnt appeal much in the size of field of still unexposed animals.

By:
Oh well.
At least he is back in one piece and sound. |
By:
Fair to say a flat campaign deadloss?
By:
sam winner seriously impressive. not as good as empire levant though
By:
2 hoss rcae lookin at the bettin tomorro, this fella has to win really to be considered for Chelters havin hurdles experience over the 2nd fav
By:
Based on the hype, and asked Deadloss for a king one to follow a couple of month ago and he said Franklino so must have shown a lot at home, have had a good sized bet on him to win today and a few quid on him for the triumph, dunno what went wrong first time out but expect him to be a lot better today
By:
evens today with a nicholls unknown and a smith flat 100 rated horse. hed want to step up
By:
I missed the race but seen he has finished in forst 3 .. what happened
By:
Oh well dunno what's happened on the track given reports of his homework but safe to say triumph is over for him.

* has not

As stated earlier 14/1 to show up,how many of these early touted Triumph horses fail to deliver?
A very high percentage,as i mentioned as well madness getting involved in this race this side of xmas. Sam Winner was impressive on Saturday, but not sure of animals behind it? Also way too short at 7/1 think rather take chance on Hurricane Fly turning up at same price? |
By:
Sam Winner the only imprssive 3yo so far this season. Some useful previous winners 30 lengths and more behind. P. Nicholls still might have a better one at home though.
By:
That was an awful showing today, certainly thought the people taking 20/1 were mad- but certainly wouldnt have wanted deadloss to end up with this hound.
By:
well people who back horses based on its trainer raving can have nobody to blame. this lad wont et a sniff of cheltenham air
By:
King is becoming known for talking up these average beasts, soon enough nobody will take any notice of his guff.
By:
He has got this one badly wrong. On todays evidence (based on audio commentary admittedly) this thing is worth about 110. Not your usual Triumph winner.
There must be something wrong with it but it is on all known evidence , very moderate. Could be interesting for Fred Winter if he can find out what the problem is but you just do get these talking horses. |
