You've got a good won there PMT !
|
By:
what because he beat a 107 rated horse by 3l makes him a good one dont think so dont get me wrong nice start but he needs to find another 40lb to even place in a supreme
|
By:
you are right alvarado, a long way to go but at least the bubble hasn't yet burst.not suited by the slow early pace today and will improve in a better race.its nice to have a flat horse with some jumping ability.
|
By:
GL pmt.
How many do you have if you don't mind me asking? |
By:
just recession proof and leslingtaylor
|
By:
Alvarado - I didn't say anything about the Supreme, just saying that PMT had a very nice prospect for the season.
HTH. |
By:
Thought he jumped super, looked a natural, well done, you'll have fun with this one.

ANOTHER Winning thread !!!
WD pmt Tell Mr Quinn all his cousins in - http://www.thurles.ie/ - say hello and well done again. |
By:
Thanks CMIYC. I will certainly tell him and he says would you like him to buy you something similar at the horses in training sale !
|
By:
pmt
if u wanna buy a cheltenham winner at the hit sales these are the 2 ideal for jumping Jedi 97 rated on the flat 1m4f-2m stayer Saptapadi 109 on the flat inc 2nd in henry II stks these to would be 2 very classy jumping prospects |
By:
thanks alvarado; yes ,they will be very good prospects but I am not buying anything this year.
|
By:
Saptapadi would be a nice buy, but isnt very big and if you paid 6 figures for him, then id rather try and win the ebor than a supreme novice.
|
By:
No tks pmt...no room for them yet over here.
Presume Marie and 'Les' will be just right for Aintree next week ! |
By:
Good call, but we are going to wait for the Elite Hurdle at wincanton on 6th Nov. we have won it twice before with Crow Wood and Kings Quay and les is going to have his chance if all goes well. Aintree will come too soon after his recent exertions.
|
By:
not a bad run pmt
|
By:
excellent run stepped up massively on his first run and the hobbs horse is very exciting
|
By:
wwe were very pleased but might have been flattered to get so close to the winner who is clearly useful. He had another gear to our horse but we would have preffered a stronger pace and might do better in a big handicap or even in the Supreme where they wont be hanging about.
|
By:
Where next ?
|
By:
Where next?! There's a lot of money down the swanee if it aint Newbury!!
|
By:
newbury is next, we are confident he will run a big race.
|
By:

WD PMT [;)]
Backed him at 18's on here a few weeks ago and also took some 90's for the Supreme Novices - just incase |
By:
Well Done PMT, enjoy the celebrations [;)]
|
By:
Great stuff...we wuz all on . Have a fantastic night, pmt
|
By:
I just said "well done" on another thread.
So now I'll say it again here |
By:
Well done pmt I have followed your threads over the years and become a fan of Leslingtaylor. A great victory for all
|
By:
Well done pmt. Very nice performance, and a great race to win. You've hopefully got lots of nice days to look forward to with him!
|
By:
thanks everyone, this was the plan once the Ladbroke was abandoned. he is improving all the time and will go for the Supreme.Doubt if we can beat Cue card though.
|
By:
8/1 for the supreme must be a joke if that wins it i,ll give up racing it certaintly makes dunraven storm look exceptional the way he ran over recession proof at ascot and what does that make cue card who did the same to DS and im against cue card big time too i do not see this as one of my runners stick it in the county hurdle
|
By:
ANOTHER Winning thread !!! DREAM ON ! "for a little longer"
'Tipp' for the Hurling (again)....Mr T. for the Supreme. Presume you had a little nibble at the 33's+ on here..WD. |
By:
Thatnks CMIYC, I had some 25/1 with the books a few weeks ago for the totesport and buttons at 200 for the supreme.I don't bother having serious bets in £100,000 races. The form with dunraven is misleading. It was a slow run race and Dunraven got a soft lead.Anyway our has improved, John Quinn's horse weren't right last summer/autumn. It would be different in a fast run handicap as I've been saying all season.Hopefully the Supreme will also be fast run. He is a very slick jumper for a novice.
|
By:
Congratulations pmt, i own the 2nd today and thought we had you as they went passed me 100 yards out - a great finish! The experience of a hcp like todays will be a good edge for him at cheltenham and he will improve if he settles a bit better as well. Good luck!
|
By:
bad luck dan it could have gone either way. i thought you had us beat 100 yards out and you have finished close up 2nd now in the two hardest handicaps of the season. Hope you win one of the Cheltenham handicaps to compensate.
|
By:
cheers, not sure which one yet but he'll have a good go!
|
By:
Congratulations to you both (pmt & dan) must be a hell of a thrill to be involved in horses fighting outa finish like that in a race such as the Totesport Trophy. good luck at Cheltenham if you both go there - I will certainly pay them closer attention then I did today!
|
By:
Many congratulations pmt and commiserations Dan
