.....on the way to cheltenham
Report Far From Trouble September 29, 2010 3:29 PM BST
Think he's be better off in the Paddy Power tbh
Report revedesivola September 29, 2010 3:33 PM BST
hard to know. It said he was after gaining muscle but he looked as thin as ever
Report Meat Loaf September 29, 2010 4:57 PM BST
I wouldn't send any progressive chasers to the Hennessy. I would go for the Charlie Hall route followed by the King George for Diamond Harry
Report revedesivola September 29, 2010 5:00 PM BST
id be more inclined to go that way myself actually. off his current mark, i think DH could win the charlie hall easily
Report sj September 29, 2010 5:27 PM BST
Wasnt overstruck last year to be honest

The Charlie Hall is not a handicap. His "mark" is irrelevant to his chance.
Report SatelliteFlight September 29, 2010 5:54 PM BST
lets be honest, he's just an overrated bridle ponce really, ain't he? Devil
Report revedesivola September 29, 2010 6:03 PM BST
oh yeah sorry flyingbolt. thats most insightful of you sattelite
Report Ibrahima Sonko September 29, 2010 6:07 PM BST
I would love him to run in the paddy power.
Report SatelliteFlight September 29, 2010 6:29 PM BST
it was a joke revedesivola, im sure loads think you're very insightful starting threads every day about the same few horses Mischief

Sonko knows Cool

Horse doesn't lack speed that's for sure. Definitely a big handicap in him, although Long Run in the Paddy Power could pose a few problems
Report Ibrahima Sonko September 29, 2010 7:25 PM BST
High cruising speed, tactical speed and stays further than 2m5f. Would be very an interesting runner in the PP.
Report revedesivola September 29, 2010 7:31 PM BST
i was jokin aswell. no need to take out the heavy artilary!
Report DukeofMarmalade September 29, 2010 9:42 PM BST
Can't get the image out of my head of him absolutely peeing all over Burton Port giving him over a stone. Looks an absolute sod to get right but I'm sure there's a big race in him somewhere.
Report revedesivola September 29, 2010 9:44 PM BST
i know and then burton port runs way better in cheltenham... thats racin i suppose
Report unclepuncle September 30, 2010 9:22 AM BST
I'd definitely aim him at the Hennessey if he were mine and 1st time out is the time to back him imo.

Excuse me for going slightly off-topic but this thread does appear to be "live".

Does anyone know if the planned move of the downhill fence at Cheltenham will take place before the PP meeting or is the change just for the Festival?
Report bigben September 30, 2010 1:42 PM BST
I was under the impression that they are moving the second last on the old course from the start of the season.
Report dananders September 30, 2010 7:46 PM BST
agree with satellite a bridle ponce much the same way long run is a flat track bully and will apit the dummy out when the going gets tough
Report booster October 1, 2010 6:28 PM BST
Might not need to come off the bridle, remember how he won the Fixed Brush Hurdle at Haydock off 149 if I remember. Wouldn't mind betting that was as good a race as The Hennessy will be and fresh, on soft ground and a flat track in November, he's a decent tool.
