hard to know. It said he was after gaining muscle but he looked as thin as ever

I wouldn't send any progressive chasers to the Hennessy. I would go for the Charlie Hall route followed by the King George for Diamond Harry

id be more inclined to go that way myself actually. off his current mark, i think DH could win the charlie hall easily

The Charlie Hall is not a handicap. His "mark" is irrelevant to his chance.

Sonko knows Cool

Horse doesn't lack speed that's for sure. Definitely a big handicap in him, although Long Run in the Paddy Power could pose a few problems

High cruising speed, tactical speed and stays further than 2m5f. Would be very an interesting runner in the PP.

Can't get the image out of my head of him absolutely peeing all over Burton Port giving him over a stone. Looks an absolute sod to get right but I'm sure there's a big race in him somewhere.

I'd definitely aim him at the Hennessey if he were mine and 1st time out is the time to back him imo.

Excuse me for going slightly off-topic but this thread does appear to be "live".

Does anyone know if the planned move of the downhill fence at Cheltenham will take place before the PP meeting or is the change just for the Festival?

I was under the impression that they are moving the second last on the old course from the start of the season.

agree with satellite a bridle ponce much the same way long run is a flat track bully and will apit the dummy out when the going gets tough

Might not need to come off the bridle, remember how he won the Fixed Brush Hurdle at Haydock off 149 if I remember. Wouldn't mind betting that was as good a race as The Hennessy will be and fresh, on soft ground and a flat track in November, he's a decent tool.
