My best advice would be to drop an e-mail to racing UK as they might be able to help as they would have all the old Cheltenham videos.

And just my opinion but I think Looks Like Trouble would have found more and won.

Good luck.

Me too 10J, he didn't do so bad the following year either, did he?

LLT was beaten at the time, both jockeys involved agreed afterwards.

There was only one winner of this race at the top of the hill. CryCryCryCry

nick dundee was some horse that season, won the moriarty in a canter and would have won at chelt, if betfair had been around then he d have traded 1.10

It certainly looked that way DAS, but LLT was a horse with a bit of class that just kept finding, as he showed in 2000. Back then he looked the best winner of a Gold Cup for quite some years, however, the decade since ain't been too shabby.
I agree that ND was some horse mind and would've gone on to great things too.
I had a look for a replay after viewing this thread and that race is omitted from all the highlights vids on YT, I assume because of the horrible fall. I was there that week, as per, and so hadn't heard the TV commentary on Bartons race, that was some squeak after the last! I must've been the only fella in my group not on it, northerm monkeys that we are, and many a week was paid for by that one race, I didn't think the singing would ever stop. Golden memories and, that fall notwithstanding, a super festival.

If you don't get any joy from RUK, I've got a copy.

Nick for me every day of the week...... and what LLT went on to do too.... heartbreaking to think what might have been.

Think back to his Gold Cup - Gloria Victis died, plus Lake KAriba and Strong Promise later. LLT got injured in the autumn and then throw in foot and mouth, it really hit the chasers hard that era.
