BINOCULAR AND BIG BUCKS.....................

Would be a worry if Binocular runs like he did last year before the big day. You would lose some value too. But basically agree they have solid favourites chances, particulrly BB if he does not switch. If KS or Denman come up short this year you never know

Big Bucks - Could easily revert to jumps (as poster says above)

Bino - Be surprised if he doesn't touch 5 or 6s at some point this year.

Big Bucks is a certainty

Would be switched to jumps until next year according to PN

well yes,HF could indeed prove to be a better horse in time,he does look good and if fit i think is a threat to all in march,but at the moment he aint as good,at least no form says he is.

I am Binoculars biggest fan and have been backing him antepost since last March for this years race; but to say its time to give up the game if Hurricane fly can win the Ch is simply ridiculous. He's beaten all thet Ireland can throw at him impressively and the form is interlocked and proven. There are question marks about the track and likely ground but he's second fav for a reason and I'm not counting my chickens yet!

^^^ spot on. Look at The Fly's record hardly been defeated when right. Of COURSE you have to respect him.

To write off Hurricane Fly is foolish.  I think he is so versatile, anything that is thrown his way he will be able to deal with.  He has proved he has an electric turn of foot, has got stamina over 2m4f and has won on Soft, Heavy and Good.

Below is a quote from Willie Mullins in 2009 saying he is the best hurdler he has ever trained and that is good enough for me.  I know Willie has said that since because he was on ATR not long ago saying it.

"We'll take it race by race with him but there's no doubt that he's the best hurdler I've ever had"

I know he has missed two festivals but he is still has time on his side, so Willie has been very cautious with him.  Binocular is a very good horse as well but is too hit and miss for me, and if Hurricane Fly turns up safe and sound he will give Binocular the hardest race he has ever  had.  Will he win?  I don't know, but to completely write him off is ridiculous.

beat luska lad cosily last time by 3 lengths on the heavy
time before he beat mourad 5 lenghths on the soft
end of last season he won the punchestown grade 1 as a fresh horse beating solwhit who had a full campaign and the county hurdle winner, 2 lengths

his novice season he had nice form. the pick of which was when beating a below par go native

the horse is decent but cant see him beating bino or peddlers cross

i dont think HF is a bad horse.... BUT: i do think mourad is a 3 miler, i dont think solwhit is a 2 miler, i dont think luska lad is a top class 2 miler... not champion hurdle winner for me
