I'm having a bit of a dispute with betfair on this. Who do you think is right? I was playing the progressive blackjack where you bet an extra $1.20 to the progressive and if your first card's an ace you get 5/1. If you get 2 aces you get 50/1. If you're dealt 3 straight aces you get 250/1 and if you get dealt 4 straight suited aces you win the jackpot. Anyways I was dealt an ace and then another ace - woo hoo 50/1 bonus as per the paytable. As anyone in his right mind would do I split the aces got a 3 and 6 on the next cards or something and they paid me 5/1 instead of 50/1. Their logic is that when you split the aces you no longer have 2 consecutive aces and only get paid on the first one. There's nothing on the site that says you have to play the Aces in the same hand as 2 or 12 or the aces don't count as coming up in a row for the progressive. Obviously had there been an indication anywhere on the paytable or on the rules that was the case I would never have split them but it just seems logical to me that if your first 2 cards dealt are aces you get the 2 ace payout. If the next card give is an ace you get the 3 card payout etc. I just can't figure out the casino's logic. So who is right here?
