Personally I wouldn't stay on the strip
The Silverton is at the South end but it's good if you hire a car
You really should hire a car , people say don't it's not necessary but it is  trust me hire a car
Big hotels on strip are busy noisy and the pools are crowded
Go to the Silverton enjoy a nice hotel and visit the strip
