The ruling from the US judge Daniel Weinstein says Fury must fight Wilder for a third time by September 15.
Fury's team must now settle with Wilder - which could be a huge step aside deal involving potentially millions of dollars for the American - with the legal teams representing Wilder capable of issuing proceedings and setting injunctions involving the television companies involved and the sanctioning bodies which control the four belts.

Promoter Eddie Hearn says he is now considering a "plan B" for Anthony Joshua and that Tyson Fury's team must clarify by the end of the week whether the pair can still fight this summer.
Fury and Joshua had agreed to a super fight in Saudi Arabia on 14 August.
But on Monday it was ruled Fury must face American Deontay Wilder for a third time by 15 September.
Hearn - Joshua's promoter - said the "game changed" with the ruling, adding: "We have to have a plan B in place".
He added: "The one that springs to mind is the WBO mandatory - Oleksandr Usyk."
Less than a week ago Hearn told BBC boxing correspondent Mike Costello he did not have any back-up plan in place because he was confident Joshua-Fury would be finalised.
And on Sunday, Fury announced he had agreed to the bout.
But Wilder's team had long said they had contractual rights to a third fight with Fury, and on Monday a US judge ruled in arbitration that the pair must fight again by 15 September.
The deadline means Fury's team are likely to consider paying Wilder to step aside but there are no guarantees the former world heavyweight champion will accept a deal to do so.
"This negotiation has been going on for three or four months and we were always assured this wouldn't be a problem," Heard added.
"It was very strange decision from the arbitrator to say the least, but that's their business.
"We can't control that or be involved with that process. As far as I understand it, Fury wants to fight Joshua. Hopefully they can resolve the issue and we move forward but over to them.
"We have provided an unbelievable opportunity to Fury. We want to be in a position by the end of the week to know are we fighting Fury or moving forward with another option.
"It's exciting, it's disappointing and it's boxing. Let's see if Team Fury can pull something out of the bag for their fighter. I think he will be disappointed."

The nature of the game should be that fighters fight (Ali used to have 4/5 bouts a year) so get the spoon fed yank out of the way asap, get Joshua to fight around the same time and then the way is completely clear to get the Fury-Joshua fight on.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum declared on Thursday that Fury and Wilder will face off on July 24 in Las Vegas, with the hope that Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, will finally face Anthony Joshua in a unification bout in November and December.

Not that it is Eddie Hearn's fault, but I just think his reaction (basically relief) shows he never wanted the fight. There was no sense of what a shame it was, or if anything could be done to keep it on track (which a lot of people speculated was possible on the day), just ''OK, so now it's AJ v Usyk''
He never wanted the Wilder fight in 2019 either. That time he just seemed to drag everything out until mandatories fell due and then it couldn't happen.
Eddie is confident Joshua will beat all of the lesser contenders, he makes a fortune whenever he fights one of them, and so wants to spend 3 years going through the lot of them, rather than have a megafight that AJ might lose.
I have never seen a single post fight Eddie interview where, when asked 'what's next?' he has started talking about Fury or Wilder, it is always "well so and so is the mandatory, and then there is the Dilian rematch". Fury and Wilder always have to be brought up by the interviewer. I have never heard a single fan say they really want to see him rematch Dilian. He's as credible opponent as most are but people figure they have seen it already and can't think why it would be any better or different. But Eddie constantly talks it up as if there is some clamour for it, when he just sees it as an easy payday. If he was serious about Wilder or Fury he would never mention that rematch as it would just get in the way.

I saw the interview, pretty clear Arum and Warren (and maybe Fury) did not want it and it seems they had an opportunity to terminate the arbritration (never heard of it going on over a year) but were happy to let that play out, and then did nothing to bargain with Wilder's people.
So, yeah certainly is unfair to blame Eddie Hearn when he had apparently got the fight made and clearly Arum/Warren were the ones who did nothing.
I do think though AJ fighting 3 or 4 mandatories and carefully selected voluntaries for 2 and a half years is a situation Eddie is fine with.
All in all, as I said on the other thread where it was said to be a done deal, I never believed this fight was going to happen, but I should have apportioned blame properly.
