116 - 111 was a joke of a score card

Explains the pro Chisora prices throughout. Looked well too low but market knew it had 1 of the judges in the pocket it seems.

Conspiracy theorist, Angela?
|
By:
I was being generous to JP (I thought) and still had Ch by 1, only had the sky com on the last 3 rounds and they sounded like they knew something I didn't! 5 points is just silly.
|
By:
I think Del got a rough decision there. deserved at least a draw
|
By:
Del thinks he got done there.
|
By:
he did. he was 5-2 up after 6 rounds. if you give JP the last 6 then it's 5-7 to JP. but JP didn't win them all
|
By:
Care to check your maths there, w/w?
|
By:
5-8. but he didn't win them all
|
By:
............but he may have been only 4-3 after 6
|
By:
I didn't see it like that. how did you see the final round?
|
By:
Sadly, w/w, I only had Radio 5 commentary throughout. For the last round, they gave Dc the first minute, that's all. So i gave r12 JP
|
By:
FWIW (which aint much) I can't see how the last round could be JP's split at the very best.
|
By:
I can only go by the info fed me. I didn't see one second of the fight. I listened to the radio 5 commentary throughout. I don't know how reliable the commentator is, I don't even know his name, but he was consistently giving good licks to JP throrugh the rounds, whereas the same Radio 5 out-of-round experts (Conor Benn + 1 other) consistently talked DC up. So I'm not in a great position to judge. As I say, I went by what I was told.
|
By:
ps I also followed the market on Betfair, which was all JP, less JP, briefly DC, back to JP then all Jp by the end of round 11, less so end of R12, but clearly JP (draw much shorter than ever before)
|
By:
That's how I made my decisions. You may have a view on that, but there it is.
|

w/w:
Q1 Did you actually see the fight (which, as you know, I didn't)? Q2 Did you have a bet? (Only asking|) |

PARKER WINS....
Split decision (115-113 Chisora, 116-111 Parker, 115-113 Parker) |
By:
How does 1 of the so called expert judges see the result as a Chisora win when the whole world can see Parker after a slow start comes through and wins. Not by a lot, but pretty easy to see who shaded the contest. Strange old set up is boxing.
|
By:
i'm struggling to remember any significant punches that parker landed - whatever the result it shows he isn't anywhere near the big boys of this division, nowhere near it.
|
By:
Agreed. Parker in dream world if he thinks he can mix it with the big boys.
