Wilder by stoppage. Fury doesn't have the power to put Wilder back on his heels. Wilder will walk through anything Fury can throw at him, and once he connects with the right, Fury will go down. Fury has good recuperative powers, but he has never been hit as hard as Wilder will hit him . He may get up once or twice, but Wilder will jump on him and force a stoppgage. Fury's boxing ability is over stated, based largely on that, admittedly very good, performance against Klitshcko. However, if you look at the fight again, Klitschko was nowhere near on point mentally (at one point he saw a swinging left hook coming from miles away, and still made no effort to avoid it, allowing Fury to hit him full in the face as if he didn't care) Wilder is not a great stylist, and he can't beat Fury on points, but he will not need to, imo. I took the evens that was available on Wilder when the fight was announced, and may just leave it at that. I'll probably be tempted to get involved in the method market at some stage, though.

I've gone Fury points

But des makes a good point about that Klitchko fight, he was awful

The punches Klitchko threw did rock Fury a little imo, for whatever reason he just didn't throw many

Fury can outbox Wilder though, but Wilder wont back off if he has his man rocked

I've got a feeling that Fury will win and the only way he can do that is by stinking the place out to get a points win then call it a great tactical victory.

wilder punches over the top and that seems to be furys weak spot so could be really tough for fury

good luck all.

why does eddie hearn have to keep having a dig about this fight, is there a bigger **** in the uk?
We don't care who you rate as number 1 in the worls eddie at least 2 of he top 3 heavyweights have the balls to put up.

one loses their undefeated record this weekend, they are doing it to challenge themselves and prove how good they are.
your lads just in it for the money.

People underestimating Fury's power! If Wilder is swinging away Fury is more than capable of sparking him clean

Joshua has to take the winner to cement his place as the best imo

He can't keep fighting smaller or past it fighters, he needs to fight the winner of this in a winner take all bout

Wilder vs Joshua would be pretty epic, Fury Vs Joshua would be the best british heavyweight fight ever though

Similar feeling to Des, I have had my 2nd biggest bet ever on Wilder to win and by ko/tko.

The Fury that fought Klitchko could cause Wilder a lot of problems but there is zero chance he will be in that condition. Fury has been lauded for shedding 10st in the last 16 months or so lol. FfS this is not a slimming contest - he is taking on the heavyweight champion who has as much power in his fists as just about anyone in a ring ever has!

Wilder has massive power, super stamina and a excellent chin - and a pathetic defence (which Joshua will surely expose).
Fury has eerrrr - good movement (when fully fit). But still looks podgy and cut short altitude training because he couldn't hack it!

Wilder can start slow against the better guys and I can see him losing a few early rounds. But as soon as Fury tires (I would suggest by rounds 5/6) he will soon feel the power and it will be ended brutally.

Can anyone seriously suggest Fury will be bouncing round the ring, throwing the odd combos and avoiding Wilder in the last 5/6 rounds lol.

Having seen Fury rip his shirt of yesterday I'm very worried about my points prediction Laugh

He's still carrying about 6lb to much around the stomach Cry

There's no way he avoids Wilder for 12 rounds looking at him, Wilder is onto em like a flash when he hits them, most of his KOS are more the ref having to jump in to stop it because its getting dangerous

Sadly I think the Wilder backers are going to take it

for anyone thinking of backing fury, have a watch of ali-williams, ali-folley and ali-bonavena
assume that frazier is a reasonable proxy for wilder. now ask yourself, is fury a reasonable proxy for ali?

fury has two chances.

1. none
2. none at all
