Degale should retire now. He doesn't have the heart for hard fights.

Commentators watching a different fight to the one I was watching. Truax didn't win by much, thought the judges got it right.
By:
The best tip I can give you about boxing is ignore the commentators and the so-called experts.
By:
Yep your right there
By:
Truax was 2.9 between the end of the 12th round and the suspend for the scorecards.
By:
yea, noticed that. It's not unusual. A lot of people take the commentators comments as gospel.

he was 1/100 in all the bookies....1/200 in some. I cant remember a bigger upset oddswise...i think devon alexander lost a few years back at 1/100. but i can't think of many more at those odds. he was 1.03 on here before the fight but on here it is rare you can't get 1/100 even on a 1/10000 shot pre fight as long as it is a known boxer.

I said a few months ago that Eubank Jnr would bet Degale and Groves. I still stand by that. If Degale ever steps in the ring with Eubank he will get spanked. I think Eubank will beat Groves as well.

Eddie must be seething Callum Smith is tied up so he can't bung Truax a load of money for Smith vs Truax super PPV at Anfield.
By:
DeGale can end up pretty stuffed here. He's totally reliant on Haymon giving him a rematch out of good will, he always goes on about being close with Haymon so now we will see, because on face of it hard to see Haymon caring about DeGale when I assume he has better American prospects to feed this belt to instead.
DeGale has no real fanbase so the market worth for a rematch is rather low, and no promoter to invest and put up loads of money for the rematch either. So not going to be easy when Truax will probably want 10x the money he got tonight for a rematch. |

Generally when these super short odds get in trouble, they always seem to win in the end, sometimes controversially, but always seem to win in the end.
By:
I gave Degale the last 2 , but Truax the previous 6
I wasn't really watching first 4 That explains why pretty much every post you made on this fight, giving your opinion, is wrong then? |

Got to laugh at the guy.
Goes and does the hard work for several years and then returns and throws it away. Any goodwill the guy seems to acquire is lost as soon as he opens his gob. |

tonight's card they are all 1.01...never seen a card like it. taylor and ward the only ones who aren't 1/100
