Instead of celebrating victory, George Groves has gone straight to the Manchester Royal Infirmary to check out the damage to his shoulder.

"I think he should retire" lol why, he can def win a middleweight world title, nobody in that division has any power, what risk is it to him to carry on?

BJS Canelo and GGG will all teach CEJ a lesson. Great to see him put in his place tonight.

He'll go where the money is. If he can't get a Groves rematch he'll drop and try to fight BJS if he gets done by the winner of Can GGG rematch winner.

tbh, I absolutely hate eubank, because of the sheer arrogance hes showned in his career, but I geniunly believe at middleweight in his proper divisiopn he can win a world title amir khan style

CEJ would improve for a proper trainer but he doesnt have `the talent' people are saying.

He is a fringe world class middleweight who put up a game but pretty hopeless effort against a proper world class
super middle.

He is all heart and fitness. His defence is crude, footwork slow. He comes forward in straight lines and leaves his chin out to dry. His hand speed is ok, He lacks one punch power at world level. He doesnt know how to work inside against classy rangier fighters like Groves.

He is being placed and hyped like a talentless `towie' star. Fair play, make a few million.

How does Eubwank win a world title at middleweight at middleweight GRANT?

He gets beat by GGG easily, schooled/knocked out by Canelo, beat on points by BJS, beat by easily by Jacobs.
Charlo batters him as does Andrade.

He is 8-10 th best in the world at middleweight.

And because of strength in depth probably 6-8th at super middle!

I guess he better retire then, u filled ur boots like me on groves at odds against them I take it? if he cant win a middleweight he had zero chance at super middle

I thought Naz was excellent, highlight of the evening. Says how it was and how he felt like lots of us do at times. He bought into the hype, like I did and to then see a performance like that and you realise that's all it was, just hype.

Obv done his coconuts on Eubank. LaughLaugh

Still a lot of what he said was right, Eubank was really shown up to be average with very little skill and not great power against the top boxers. He isn't a spring chicken either, at 28 he is only 1 year younger than Groves.

Though maybe not retire, could have a few pay days, domestic fights etc, but against genuine world class boxers or even boxers just a level below top world class like Groves who can pick up a tittle with the right fight on the right night. Then he has no chance.

He needs to grow some balls get rid of his dad who has been trying to re-live his own career through his son and in the process, take all the limelight, then get some proper trainers in, Groves did well to not allow Eubank to get near him with his excellent footwork.

He def needs a corner team and a much better cut man than that one last night who hardly kept any pressure on that cut every time, Prob is Eubank thinks he,s the real deal, nowt to learn etc, One score card had it 2 rounds diff, ridiculous  but we,ve seen all that before, I reckon that fight could hold the record for most AIR SHOTS in a 12 rounder, Eubank looked like a complete amateur and was totally outclassed, his moment of glory in the last was only because Groves had one hand to use, I didn't  notice at the time the problem tbh. P Nas highlight of the night for me, maybe to harsh for his own good and prob cost himself future jobs but brutally hinest and spot on ref Jr

Thought nassem was right about junior, he never got near groves all fight, he was swinging like mad to no result genuinly made to look bad at times, when did he say GGG has no power LaughLaughLaugh

It was a terrible display fron Jnr. His footwork was about the worst I've seen at any level and he was swinging wildy like a 15 year old. It was an easy win for Groves really. I'm annoyed with myself more than anything for buying in to the hype. I knew that Groves was a better boxer, bigger, stronger, smarter and more experienced, yet I still allowed myself to believe that Eubank's charisma, speed and athleticism would be enough. It's a lesson for me. Look at fights logically and use your knowledge. All of my losses in boxing have been in big fights which are surrounded by a lot of hype. Bellew - Haye, Davies v Taylor and this one. In future I will have to take a much more pragmatic and logical view, or avoid these types of fights altogether.

Des its `boxing' not track or cycling. You talk about charisma (wtf has that got to do with anything), speed and athleticism. Why isn't Usian Bolt a footballer or boxer? Because he's nowhere near good enough at the skills required to get to the top in those sports.

Yes Grant I had a 500-3k Groves points win and then had another 3k for him to win at odds against when Eubank was clearly wary of Groves power in rounds 1 and 2 and couldn't close the distance.

Just so it ain't aftertiming I would advice a substantial bet Canelo to beat GGG by decision 9/4 in the rematch. He is a superior `boxer', realises GGG is unlikely to floor him and with improved workrate should win most rounds. There is myth circulating that GGG won the first fight decisevely. That simply wasnt the case. Unless you count punches that land flush on opponents gloves as scoring shots it was a very tight fight and Canelos work was crisper/cleaner and more powerful.

Some of Eubank's punches where closer to hitting the judges rather than Groves.

Where was your prediction mate? I must have missed it! It's easy to come on here after the event, and tell everyone else where they went wrong, and how much "money you made". Try putting up predictions for loads of fights before the event, not just the big fights after the result is known. Then people might be able to take you seriously. Otherwise you would appear to be just another Monday morning Quarterback.

haye still won a round on one leg to be fair. guess we will know more in the rematch. if he doesn't get injured he will likely ease to a points win over tony.
