True true

I suppose if someone flashes the £££££s I'd be very tempted as well Devil

Understandable when mugs will happily pay 20 quid to watch shop worn fighters in their late thirties battle it out because the press conference had some "needle".

I got out with a £3 loss on this.

Feels like a big win after losing £440 on the first one.

Never said it was but if people are willing to pay 20 quid on top of their current subscription for fights between past its then don't expect fighters not to take the piss and you to be called a mug. I doub't people who back 1/5 first 3 and 16 runner handicaps are losing megabucks either but they're still mugs who add to the problem.

Life's about choice my friend do not see anybody forcing any of these 'mugs' to part with their money.

If they were being forced to then they would be victims so I agree. The mugs part comes in to it because they are making the choice. That and the first fight was PPV for no other reason than being between two British professional bull****s who were capable of carrying out WWF style patter that was being promoted round the clock on Sky Sports News.

Fair play to them I would do the same but lets not pretend it isn't only possible for them to do it because there are a lot of mugs who fall for the second hand car salesman/WWF style nonsense.

Worth the money for the entertainment and genuine rivalry imo.

Hopefully Haye will steel chair him at the press conference then and they can do it again.

Okay, let's cut to the chase, did YOU watch the fight ?
By:

Yes. I did. On a stream. The fact that I'm a fan of boxing doesn't mean I agree with paying 20 quid for non title fights on tv. In my view PPV should be for Big fights that wouldn't otherwise be made. This wasn't one. It was just a chance to fleece the gullible public.

Haye was disappointing. Bellew unestimated as ever measured, good boxing skills and a wicked left hook that so few appreciate. Fantastic mental strength and follows a game plan under serious pressure with millions watching/screaming in his ear.

Still uses his brain to try and call out Andre Ward. Would be a huge fight and one Bellew could win at Cruiserweight.

Could win. But even if he didnt, Ward would hurt him and he would collect at least £3mill!

The fact is Haye still had Achilles injury going into this, I doubt he tore his bicep before it was to buy more time to see if Achilles would heal up, you could see him not right on his legs,

I'm no athlete but do bagwork a few times per week with back/hip issues how did nobody know that Haye couldn't set himself to punch surely this would've shown up in any part of boxing training at any time even just doing a fighting stance Crazy

For all those who think Hayes' achilles was kaput going into the fight check out the link to his twitter page and pre fight warm up vids, you can't do those things with a dodgy achilles.

It takes a good year and a half to properly recover from an achilles tendon rupture, and even longer if it is a severe injury. No way Haye should have been allowed to box, imo. However, money talks, especially in a sport that is rife with momey-grubbing chancers, and followed by naive fans.
