Not really interested in watching or betting on this one. Although Degale should take it on points, as long as he maintains his concentration and doesn't let his workrate drop in the middle rounds, as he has done before (notably against Groves).

I'm much more excited about the Pedraza v Davis fight on the same Bill. This is a very intruiging contest. On the face of it Pedraza should have far too much experience and nous for Davis. As well as a significant height and reach advantage. Although Pedraza is very accomplished and doesn't have too many weaknesses, he is short of being a truly world-class fighter. Davis is still very raw and has only really fought tomato cans, so far, so this fight is a huge step-up for him. However, this kid can really bang. He has extraordinary power for a super-featherweight. And Mayweather's camp feel that he is capable of stepping up and winning the world Title at the age of 22. I can't wait for this one, and I'm still not sure who will win. Davis has the power to knock anyone out, but he he is a bit flat-footed, tends to over-reach when throwing and tries to take his opponent out with every shot. I'm not sure if he will get away with this approach against Pedraza, who is several levels above anyone "Tank" has faced so far, but if Davis catches Pedraza clean it will be very interesting. Davis's stamina has not been tested so far,as he has rarely gone beyond 2 or 3 rounds, and this is where Pedraza can assert himself the longer the fight goes on. It is possible that Davis could tire badly in the later rounds,if Pedraza has felt his power and is still there. However, there are plenty who feel that Davis could blow Pedraza away. I'm not sure which way it will go, but I will be looking forward to it far more than the Degale v Jack fight.

Prices look about right. DeGale should win, he'll probably make it harder than it should be like he usually does by coasting rounds and giving them away, but he should win in the end.

James Degale v Badou Jack - Fight Winner
Badou Jack @ 12/5
Return: 2.14 Bet ID:

Davis is class and i don't think he will blow him away but i have had him bookmarked for a few year now as i seen him and thought this guy is world title level soon.So i reckon a win but i wouldn't say easy but it will be a stoppage imo.

I knew that davis was heavy-handed, but I didn't expect him to get to Pedraza that easily, I was worried he might struggle with pedraza's height and reach, but needn't have worried.

Look liked he was fighting a chump not a seasoned World champ! kid got a lot of talent, if he keeps working and doesn't get distracted gonna be a huge name !

Yes, apparently he broke the noses of 4 sparring partners in a row. He's still rough around the edges, but he has a lot going for him.
