I have backed Fury, maybe get back some of the money nicked from me when he got a dodgy decision against McDermot
in their 1st fight. Going into the last round, everyone said, it was not a case if MC won....just by how much? Vlad should win, however if gets caught the odd time, is getting older, rarely puts boxers away, and if and thats if Tyson connects, he is a big unit, and one punch could do it. Up to 4/1 would never back Fury, however got osme 6s a long time ago, worth the best....at the price. |

Hopefully Fury will get a merciless beating over the full distance

How can you hope Fury gets a merciless beating? He's showed humour & class in the build up to the fight, unlike Haye & Chisora. Haye wouldnt even shake hands and chisora spat in his face
Really hope Fury gets a win here and proves you and a lot of others very wrong. |

whoever wins its going to be hillarious aslong as its a KO either way

fury has advantages but his defence is a big worry. every time he fights ive been looking to see improvement in his defence but it never comes. this is a fight where he needs a KO so hes got to avoid the punches hes taken in other fights because if he takes one here hes gone.
only bet for me is on fight not to go distance at 4/5. its about 4/6 now so happy i got a bit of value win or lose. if i was backing either to win id probably go with fury ko(he could win 12 rounds and still not get the decision) on price alone but im happy with just the one bet. i hope he starts out cautious and works the jab, then come on stronger in the last 6 rounds. hes liable to do anything - go nuts after he takes a big shot and get ko'd or even get disqualified. gutted ill be missing this fight as the hype has been great really enjoyed the build up. |

"I'm not going to give the game plan away but what I will say is that I will make him look like a child and this will be an easy fight for me," Fury said. "I will make him look an idiot. I will make him look a fool and humiliated in front of his own 60,000 crowd.
"I will humiliate him before stopping him. I'm not going to points, I'm going to stop him." |

I love watching Fury, he's great for the a division which has stagnated for years but I think this is absolutely buying money, Klitschko should be 1/10, not 1/4.
First up, he needs a KO to win in Germany, it's a sad state of affairs but that is a fact. I don't think he has the power that his size indicates. Even then I can't see him landing a clean shot because WK is not a sloppy fighter, he is clinically safe, and just doesn't get tagged, (even by more agile fighters like Haye (the most athletic fighters in years) couldn't engineer a way to get inside that pounding jab. WK and has learnt from those defeats in his youth. The size aspect, a lot is being made of the fact WK has never fought someone who is as big as he is, fair enough. For me, i think it'll suit him better than someone 8 inches shorter and having to punch down at awkward angles. Being able to hit Fury straight on spells trouble for Fury, who will get tagged, and does go down to vastly inferior fighters than WK. The age gap, I see no issue with a heavyweight being 40. Many don't even peak until their mid 30s. He has not taken any heavy punishment for years, this is not a 40 year old Mike Tyson, who's endurance is spent. For me the fight goes no further than halfway. |

Can't understand anyone who says they want to see Fury get a merciless beating. He injects life into a horridly dull division. If he does get a beating, the robot will just carry on picking off guys in a surgical, turgid fashion with Joshua the only hope of getting people excited about heavyweights again.
If Fury wins, it's game on. Every title fight will be exciting as he's so unpredictable. And aside from what the result means for the future of the division, why would you want him to get a merciless beating? The guy is great - always funny, always entertaining, knows he is a clown and is happy to play the role as he understands boxing is about entertaining the fans - something Klitschko has NEVER got. |

surely Fury must now withdraw claim to be most dangerous man on planet Jeremy Corbyn is the new scary one !!!

I really can't see how Fury wins this fight. Klitschko is very hard to hit. His chin is suspect but can't see Fury get close enough to trouble him. Can see Fury eating the jab for a few rounds and getting frustrated and getting caught. I'd go for round five ko. Hope it's a good fight.

mis match imo...fury offers little.

I'm happy to see Fury coming in at a fighters rather than builders weight. I'm a little concerned that in the photos I've seen this week his body language isn't projecting alpha male but that he's in the presence of the alpha male. He towers over Wlad but all the shots see him shrinking into the background with even the face off appearing to suggest that Wlad is the bigger man. Hopefully he's playing mind games because he needs to come out and impose himself on the fight. No way does he get out of this fight with a points win.

Fury has to have a punchers chance but needs to do the job inside 3 rounds IMO, or else it will be a painful night for him. I see this as the modern day Ali v Cooper fight - even down to the controversies over gloves (which some on here may remember). WK should win easy - unless Fury catches him early doors. Love to see him do it though. WK laid out in front of his own fans would be a sight to behold.
Don't think it will happen though. |

has fury fought anyone half decent?

hopefully Fury will give it a proper go unlike Haye a few years back. gotta back up all that big talk.

Of course he has Roida but your question touches on a simple truth. There's decent fighters out there like both Chisora and Johnson were when he fought them but the problem is that there has been a gulf between them and Vitali and Wlad. So any fighter they have met has gone from fighting those decent fighters and tried to then bridge that gap and failed. Eventually there will either be someone who can do this, Wlad will fall back to the field or retire. Fury may fall flat on his face tonight but he is young, big and has decent skills for a very big man. Of course he has weaknesses and these have been exacerbated during his career by lack of application in preparation. I personally wouldn't worry about his fighting ability. I worry about his ability to cope with the pressure of this environment and whether his chin will stand up to Wlad. If the answer is yes to those two questions then I think this will be a very hard night for Wlad.

'a very hard night for klit ? Give me a break - i would tw@t Fury and im a scruffy roofer . I cant stand Haye but if he couldnt get near him - FURY HAS NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER . My price for the RUSSIAN DRAGON is 1/33 |

Really interesting fight. Both guys clinch like mad and have weak chins. Honestly believe Fury is far more talented than Wladimir but of course the power, experience and possibly discipline lie in favor of Wladimir.
Hard to predict, I suppose with Fury you just imagine in your mind him eating some rights and eventually getting hurt. His defensive work isn't the best, and he rarely gets his hands up to even get a guard up when the situation would call for it. If Wladimir was more naturally aggressive I would say maybe you can justify these odds but seeing how this is not the case I think Fury has a real chance here. His boxing skills along with his movement will make this very awkward for Wladimir, who is not interested in leaving his comfort zone. 4-1 seems good but also maybe dabble with the split/majority decision win for Wladimir as cover. |

You need a reality check. Fury is a professional fighter. He's fought twenty odd fellow professionals and beaten every one of them. I've never been on a roof so ponder how you would feel if I said you're shiit and I could do a better job. Fury has only two questions to answer as I said but if he can't answer them then Wlad will probably beat him easily. As for Haye he was a talented fighter who froze in front of Wlad and embarrassed himself. That can happen. The relative points are that Haye was a blown up cruiser, short by todays standards with a short reach. Fury has a much longer reach even than Wlad and stands about seven inches taller than Haye. He can also box and irrespective of whether he is overawed by the occasion he is more likely to get knocked out by going crazy than folding in on himself like Haye did. |

Not even Hayden Panettiere would think 1/33 was value for Wlad

I think Fury has done a cracking job selling this fight , I wasn,t at all interested first time around but he has sold me for it now , just hope he gives it a proper go tonight , Vlad has fought plenty of bums over the last few yrs imo and many just in there for a payday for sure , Fury at least has ambition and has better tools than Haye for the job , I hope he doesn,t freeze on the big occasion ,dont think he will either , heart wants him to win but the head rules when it comes to a bet and I think Vlad will stop a very open and easy to hit Fury inside halfway . Would happily ose a few quid if he could pull it off mind you

Klitschko @ 5/6 KO/TKO for me
Though I quite like Fury and wouldn't begrudge him a win. Think he has conducted himself pretty well pre fight, been funny, sold the fight well and shown Klitschko respect by shaking hands etc. I also think Fury will try to win the fight unlike Haye (who was in survival mode all fight) and made little effort as he had a sore toe . However I think this will mean being left open for a few of Klitschko's bombs to land. |

please don't pay for this fight people klitschko is way better class than fury who wont last 8 rounds if that
