Price on Smith seems ridiculous. Favourite yes. 1.3 no.

Price on Fielding by points seems even more ridiculous (16/1!).

In general the KO prices seem too short.

I think Smith is a level above Fielding to be honest. The wins over Sjkloca and Rebrasse are better than anything Rocky has done for me. Rocky's best win over Brian Vera was a farce last time out. Smith wins via late stoppage for me if he doesn't get careless and caught by a Fielding bomb somewhere along the line.

Ricky Burns betting is currently Sportsbook only tonight.

Have requested this fight is added to the Exchange and if not then Betfair are increasingly making markets Sportsbook only.

This started earlier this year with football matches and it looks like other Sports are now being targeted by Betfair.

Sportsbook priced up  Jamie Cox 1/500 and Jamie Conlan 1/500 with both opponents 16/1 tonight while both. Both favourites are 1.02 on the Exchange.Laugh

anyone seen what Snmith's trainer ,Gallagher been saying..

Refuses to call Fielding 'Rocky' insists on 'Michael' Plain

Gallagher has already suggested his counterpart Oliver Harrison's 'mask is slipping' in the build-up and has now turned his attentions on Fielding - who he will only refer to by his birth-name, Michael, because he "doesn't deserve" to share a name with the unbeaten heavyweight great Rocky Marciano.

Fielding (21-0-KO12) is yet to be beaten but Gallagher is convinced he is not strong enough to beat Smith (17-0-KO12), whose brothers Paul, Liam and Stephen have already been crowned British champions.

"I've watched all his fights from amateur to pros and in some fights he came out in the first round and there was a bully in him," Gallagher told Sky Sports.

"He likes to bully people when he knows they're weak, but when they stand up to him, I think - in fact I know - he is mentally weak.

"Even his own trainer Oliver Harrison has said he is trying to eradicate the bad habits, and he's been working on his strength. But the most important thing he's been working on is Michael's mental weakness.

"I think that mental weakness will come to the fore again. It's alright being brave in a gym or at a press conference or on TV, but when that bell goes - and he is a very nervous fighter and he isn't the bigger man for one - he isn't going to be able to bully Callum."

Fielding comes into the fight on the back of a second-round knockout of experienced American Brian Vera and remains the only Prizefighter winner to have stopped all his opponents on his way to the £32,000 prize.

But while Harrison is predicting a 12-round war between the local rivals, Gallagher disagrees and is predicting Fielding will not be able to go the distance,

"Once Callum starts landing those jabs and right hands, Michael Fielding will be looking for a way out," he said.

"I've seen that in his fights. As soon as he gets a decent shot land on his chin, he steps back, goes into defensive mode.

"I am not sure why. I know he had his jaw broken as an amateur so [maybe] he is worried about taking a fuller shot. If you watch his fights and you see him up against somebody of not much substance, there is a bully mentality in him.

"But if you stand up and give it back to him, he looks for a way out. I think that's what's going to happen come fight night."

He was going to lose though. Up 4 and 1 on 2 of the scorecards. But the last round was going to be at least a 10-8 round.

With a 8-9 second count was about 50 seconds left stupid ref I wonder if the ref has a betfair account he was probably on a 12 round stopage
Report charwell. November 7, 2015 9:14 PM GMT
Bad stoppage so close to the end of the fight, would have made the scorecards tight.

He jumped up too quick and the ref never looked into his eyes or asked him if he was ok. Poor.

That's the problem. You've got fighters like Bellew. He got a taste of PPV money last year, and has now done what exactly? Fight nobodies all year.

Wasn't the winner of Bellew vs Cleverly meant to get a world title shot? Instead the loser got one, and the winner hasn't done much of anything yet.

cleverly hasnt fought for a world title since the bellew fight?
Report n88uk November 7, 2015 10:53 PM GMT
Tbf for some reason I thought his last fight was for a world title, it wasn't. Sorry.

Even so Cleverly at least had a meaningful fight since. Bellew just seems to be going nowhere, waiting for a title shot to land, but doesn't want to travel for it.
Report wisewords November 7, 2015 10:55 PM GMT

Report n88uk November 7, 2015 10:58 PM GMT
More and more Hearn fighters are likely to go to Haymon imo (the world level ones). As with Brook and Joshua hogging a lot of PPV dates, it doesn't leave much of the big money for the rest.

Joshua especially annoying given we'll probably get a load of fights that will end inside 3 rounds on PPV.
