Just the way I see. Good luck with your bets chaps.

Groves looked great at the weigh in. Carl very dry around the stomach. Funny by Groves pointing out at last years weigh in Froch claimed to be in the best shape ever "hitting his times in camp" George "I'm sure you've got the footage"

Lets get ready to rumble...........
By:
you watch froch's previous fights bar the last one and he either had a shocker last time or he's gone at the game.
By:
id pay £16-95 to see froch's brother done.
By:
sj people i speak to about the fight most of them think groves will win because hes younger and has faster hands and will let froch come on to him and he will pick him off i just think froch we get to him later in the fight i hope so for my 500pound
By:
If Groves had proved his stamina before this fight then I'd be all over him Atkins, I had a £300 double with him and Pacquiao last month that's enough for me. It's still a big ? At least now he's actually doing roadwork which for some reason Booth had never believed in when he was coaching George. Good luck all Monster day tomorrow with the Macau card as well
By:
and you sj just nice to see the money come for froch got me worried when he went to 1.80
By:
Just glad all the talking's over cant wait for the fight now, 76,000 expected tomorrow and they said Boxing was dead and UFC would take over years ago

I think groves is absoloutly hilarious and an absoloute brilliant wind up merchant, if i dont back froch i hope groves gets it done

If I was Groves coach I would be telling him to move and jab and win rounds hitting him with a hook when he fancies it he is far to quick for Froch ,time to win the fight not the war. Groves on points is his if he wants it and that is how he should approach it .
Groves on points for me, he could win it by 7 rounds if he wants to using those tactics, he came unstuck trying to knock Froch out last time . Groves is by far the better boxer, Froch is a brawler. |

Was surprised to see George tipping the scales slightly lighter than Froch this afternoon given the talk he is naturally the heavier man.
George`s conditioning work must have gone well, looked in great shape this afternoon. Out of interest, could anyone hazard a guess at what weight the Saint will enter the ring tomorrow night? |
By:
Groves will be around 180lbs tomorrow
By:
Very hard fight to call. I can't see Groves going gung ho. Also froch is going to be better prepared. He knows groves can hurt him. I can see it going the distance with a very close decision. Can see a third fight happening. If groves has his stamina sorted i think he can win. However the longer it go's the more it favours froch. Looking forward to it. My bets would be groves on points or froch ko.

Just seen the first fight again. Froch all the way. Groves was going to drop if the ref hadn't had stopped it, his legs had gone. Bet like Carl's been telling us, for him to win via stoppage.

Cheers sj, if that is the case George will be near a stone heavier come the fight.
Read reports he generally needs to shed around 8lbs before a weigh in. Today he stated on sky sports he's been around 12st 4lbs for the past 2 weeks? Im aware there could be an element of kidology at play here but that can't be right can it? If that is indeed the case his whole training regime must have changed from what he was doing with Adam Booth. |
By:
Disregard the 2nd part of the post above forgot the fight was at 12st limit for a moment.
By:
Groves ko is the play.
By:
since the weigh in all the money for froch 1.7 to bet

George is known to crash 4lbs in the last 24 hours of course unless you're part of the camp who knows? But if he's been doing that sort of thing for years then I wouldnt see it as a problem. Yeah he'll be around a stone heavier not unusual for light welters 140lbs and welters 147lbs to put on a stone so dont worry |

i see mitchell has managed to f**k his weight up this morning!

From a purely betting perspective - surely Groves is the bet? There are some decent arguments for either side of this coin, but one of them has much bigger odds. When there's such a 50/50 always take odds-against?
By:
betfred went evens froch for 100pound between 11am and 12 got 300 on so have took 1.80 and evens will lay some off to make my book better
By:
Froch to hit the deck at anytime 11/4 looks good
By:
Maintain this is an excellent betting opportunity. Only the built in memories of the past glory for Froch and the relative lack thereof for the younger fighter have created these odds. If you simply evaluate each fighter in the now its very difficult to suggest Froch should be a favorite.
imo Groves should be roughly 1.50 to win, if anything that might be too generous an offer. |

groves will win a crooked fight then it will one one each then a rematch for £10 million each boxing is just like wrestling now crooked ..................................................................................... George has already vetoed a clause in the pre - fight contract that allows Froch a re-match should George win. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-2642133/George-Groves-says-NO-rematch-Carl-Froch-win-Wembley.html |

If true that's a tad hypocritical from Groves in light of his bleating on and on and on for a rematch!

money money money money money dont listen to what them jokers say money rules

I usually enjoy the betfair Boxing forum but a big fight from the public's perception tends to attract the mongs
By:
Indeed SJ. I may not post loads on here but always read the forum and normally don't bother with the threads on fight day better seeing the regulars on here during the build up to fights.

I havent got a problem with people putting an opinion who they think will win etc. But jesus christ calls of fix? Do me a favour
By:
This is boxing, suggesting a fix isn't entirely out of this world. If its a good, close fight that goes the distance not crazy to think it might swing Groves way to set up a trilogy.

By:
any point in a fight where a boxer starts 1/200
or 1.01 with commission on here? joshua needs to fight much better fighters, otherwise might as well just hit a punchbag in the gym. |

another pointless excerise for johsua
