Interesting fight though - the shocker for me was finding out Banks was actually the YOUNGER of the 2 men!

Mitchell was seen as the prospect prior to the first bout, can't help but think Mitchell has found his level - fringe world class I suppose.

Was amazed myself that Banks is 30, only found it out yesterday while doing a bit of research.

as most of us said really - broner is defo one to get at some point.  Not impressive at all yday - far too open in his stance and will get rocked by someone down the line.  He's lucky he faced a ww that has no power tbh.

Banks fight was a joke, nobody come out of that looking good.

Broner/Paulie was interesting, really like Paulie as a guy. All 3 judges had it 3-1 Paulie after 4 rounds which was spot on imo, Broner deserved at least one deduction maybe even two.

Doesn't warrant a rematch and I hope Broner moves to 140 now, get in the mix with Garcia/Matthysse etc.

Some strange fights last night lads.

Managed to make a profit after backing Bika but i was sweating towards the end..........how the hell was this for the WBC strap........scandalous.

Could kick myself for not getting aboard Paulie fight to go distance. Broner didnt do anywhere near enough to make it comprehensive for me, it was a close fight and Paulie came out of it well i thought. I cant wait to see someone wipe the smirk off that classless idiots face.........he couldnt even be gracious in victory in the interview.......its one thing being controversial and make headlines but he's going too far the other way with his comments.

As for the Banks fight...........i can only think that it was a fix.........i know thats strong stuff but Mitchell is there to be walked through.......the guys got the worst chin in boxing and Banks threw absolutelly nothing after the 3rd.........it stinks to high heaven for me and i can only think Banks has 'gained' by rolling over........if he wasnt injured then that was a disgracefull performance.

Arrogant fighters can be great entertainment but there is nothing to like about him. Whoever he's fighting the crowd will go wild when he gets KO'd. Hopefully soon.

Not impressed with Broner at all after that.  His weaknesses were exposed even though he did clearly beat the feather fisted Malignaggi.  His slow rocking movement and lack of fluid combination punching made him look ordinary at times.  A legit A level offensive fighter gets rid of Malignaggi, never really even had Paulie hurt.

Banks/Mitchell was a fiasco, Mitchell has a jaw that would make Audley Harrison proud.  Banks refusal to let his hands go was almost comical, not so shocking though as I've seen him fight a few times before and his work rate is always abysmal.  Both still better than Wilder though. lol
