he don't need the money from fighting

broken man all the best ricky but dont come back

His dad needs to do a number on his son to make it physically impossible to fight again, hatton has a death wish, he wants to die in the ring.

By:
it was depessing even to watch the interview

Ricky looked better physically than I thought he'd be but he bit off more than he can chew at this stage. Most boxers/promoters knowing they'd sold out an arena would have picked a bum.
By:
Blessing in disguise he got beat, hopefully he now realises his fighting career is over.
By:
he looked so poor though TP , particulary timing and stamina, that i think there are probably about 60/70 fighters who could have beat him

That guy didnt look all that tbf, Hatton destroys him back in the day. Sad to see, Hatton looked very tired towards the end. But have to agree, he took some clean shots tonight that, against a bigger puncher he gets hurt, possibly quite badly. Hope he quits, and his promoting takes off, or even some TV work. Genuine bloke

3 and a half years out i think he said (about 20 times) so fought pretty well but picked way too tough a comeback opponent (after 3 and a half years out). A sad end, stay off the drugs Ricky.

Shouldn't have tried to fight at welter in my view. Not big enough to do it in his day and certainly not now.
By:
Yes, tobermory, he looked poor, it's just that I expected him to be worse. I'd pretty much pictured him as Gazza before the fight. If he'd had an easy warm-up fight then he'd have looked a lot better but I think it's clear he should retire for good.

5live doing a Hatton phone in

TBF to Dempsey................I believe he meant it.

The bottom line is Ricky can no longer maul even BUMS.

He just needs a hobby, why can't he take up horseracing or something, he got enough money he could own a few horses like owen does, take up golf, cycling, fishing, speedboats, why does he want to be such a fool?
By:
Malignaggi is a brilliant pundit, should have him on Sky
By:
He's paid for the terrible unprofessional lifestyle throughout his boxing career. Battering his body into shape time after time had to take its toll.
He needs hard truths not yes people he's probably surrounded by. |
By:
The only reason Hatton still fighting is he has stuck all his money up his nose and the noses of his many hangers on. That my friends is FACT. Good Night.

Well his wife needs to divorce him then, before he ends up totally bankrupt and they end up on a council estate.

Give the guy some credit, goodness me. |

Cheers

Ease money could have made there, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had it 88-84!! How on earth could some of these commentators have Hatton winning?!
By:
Dan Rafael had Hatton 5-0 up. Don't know what he watches sometimes

Really interesting to see you guys score it differently to me and the majority of the media. I expect most of you were scoring it a little more neutrally. Anyway, these are the official scores through 8 rounds:
Hatton 78 v 74 Senchenko Hatton 77 v 76 Senchenko Hatton 77 v 76 Senchenko So Hatton would have been behind on two and ahead on one going into the final round, if he'd got to his feet. The best he could have realistically got would have been a majority draw. |

He's said that's it, no more, thank god he's finnished before he got seriously hurt.
Losing 5 stones in weight is about as bad a preperation as it gets |
By:
How the booollox could anyone have Hatton 4 up at that point.
There were several close rounds but at least 3 that Chenko landed many more and hurtful punches. |
By:
Good to see he retired, wish him the best.
